Born from Frustration, Built for Focus. As a developer working across multiple technologies, I found myself constantly rearranging my macOS Dock—launching different sets of apps for design, coding, writing, or meetings. Every context switch meant precious minutes lost and mental focus disrupted. That daily friction led me to build DockFlow—a productivity app that simplifies your digital workspace. With just one click, DockFlow lets you switch between tailored Dock layouts, so you can dive into deep work faster, stay organized, and reclaim your focus. No more dragging icons or searching for the right tools—DockFlow makes your Mac adapt to your workflow.

A must for multitaskers! How does it handle apps used in multiple workflows—do they duplicate or stay dynamic across layouts?

Asaf Mazuz

@desmond_ren1

No duplications :)

Each preset gets the full focus when selected,
You can also have the option to close automatically all the applications that are not in the preset to get this clean start feel 🤩
I'm glad you liked it and showed interest!
You can check the app on my website and try it 😄

Have a great week!

DockFlow feels like a game-changer for anyone juggling multiple workflows, turning the Dock into a smart, adaptive tool instead of a static strip of icons. Love how it tackles context switching head-on with such a clean, focused approach.

Launching soon!

Your demo video demonstrated everything! I love the part where you mess around with Discord icon 😂
I won't need lengthy dock where I crammed every single thing I use anymore. Amazing product!

Sleek! I don't like the minuscule icons in my dock on adding too many applications. The categories also help to avoid distractions. This solves for both. Nicely done.

DockFlow nails a pain point most devs just accept as normal. Love how it transforms the Dock into something dynamic and actually workflow friendly, it’s like muscle memory for your workspace.

Thank you!

I am glad you found it helpful

Wish you a great week 😄

Great idea, perhaps the animation switching could be faster?

Thank you!
I am using the Mac os built-in dock, so its limitation binds me,
I tried to build it to have the minimum impact on the Mac's performance.
I will try to play with it more.

Maybe I can change something without impacting them.

Thank you again!

This is such a relatable pain point, and I love how you turned it into something actionable. The context switching problem is real, especially when you’re juggling multiple roles or projects. DockFlow looks like a smart and elegant way to cut that friction and protect your focus.

As someone building tools for indie devs myself, I really appreciate when a product is born directly from personal frustration. Congrats on the launch, and excited to see where this goes!

As a Mac user who frequently switches between work and personal projects, this tool looks really practical!

Asaf Mazuz

@winrey

I built it for myself, solving this exact issue!

Thank you for the comment!

Really clever idea. It’s wild how much time and focus we lose just re-setting our workspace between tasks. Curious — do you see DockFlow evolving into something that manages full desktop setups, not just the Dock?

Asaf Mazuz

@dylan_ooi

First, thank you for the command!

Maybe yes,
I wanted to build a simple app that solved one problem good,
This is why I also go for small one-time lifetime pricing

If more users want something bigger, I will build it and maybe have a different model to support it.

Complex = Hard to maintain = Operation costs.

I hope you will find DockFlow helpful and get the productive boost I am getting when using it! 😄

Jun Shen
