👋 Hey Product Hunt Community!
I'm thrilled to introduce DeskBreak, the web browser extension designed to help desk workers like you stay healthy and productive!
I know how challenging it can be to maintain good health habits when you're glued to your desk. Prolonged sitting, poor posture, and a lack of movement are just a few issues we all face daily. That’s why I created DeskBreak—to make sure taking care of yourself doesn’t take a backseat to your work.
Here’s what DeskBreak offers:

📊 Activity Streaks & Yearly Insights: Track your break habits and see how they positively impact your health and productivity over time.
⏰ Customizable Schedules: Set break times that fit your unique routine, ensuring a balanced workday.
🔔 Timer and Alert System: Never miss a break. DeskBreak keeps you on track with gentle reminders and alerts.
Why did I build DeskBreak?
I believe that small changes can lead to big improvements in your health and well-being. DeskBreak was born from my own struggles with maintaining a healthy routine while working long hours. I wanted a tool that not only reminded me to take breaks but made those breaks meaningful and effective. Now, I'm excited to share it with you!
I’d love your feedback!
I'm just getting started and would love to hear your thoughts. What’s working for you? What features would you like to see next? Let’s build a healthier work routine together. 🚀
Thank you for checking out DeskBreak—your support and suggestions mean the world to me!
Looking forward to your feedback,
Miguel from DeskBreak
I love this product!
From my own experience small changes indeed compound to habits that change your life.
It's exactly how I got to ship my own apps 💪
Congrats on the launch, Miguel! 🚀
I love the idea of gamifying the taking breaks routine. That will surely incentivize people to take regular breaks and make the process more engaging and fun!
Good luck! 🍀
I feel like this has ben done earlier. I always have been working with cycle strategy 40min work ->10 min rest -> 40 min work.
Awesome how easy to start to use it is! Congratulations on your launch!
@joanbosch Thanks for your feedback and support Joan! 🙏😁
Some people have told me from the initial feedback if it was just "a fancy Pomodoro timer", but actually the timers are just a tool, the main thing is handling the different types of necessary breaks you need to take to stay healthy and redirect you to actionable advice, videos, etc.
