Hey Producthunt! I believe that success depends on how well you communicate your thoughts. As a PM at a high-growth company, I make presentations quite often. Not to fake work, but to communicate ideas. It takes a lot of my time to structure a presentation that would convey a message in a simple & elegant manner to hit my goal. There are over 100 presentation apps offering hundreds of design templates. Yet, it is still extremely hard & time-consuming to create a presentation that will hit your goal - budget or hire approval, successful product pitch, quarterly results report, etc. By why? 1) These tools are focused on visuals, not content. They don't help you to tailor your content to your goal, audience & style of communication. 2) Plus, they require you to leave your tool of preference - PowerPoint, Figma, Miro, Keynote and use theirs. But, honestly, who wants to learn how to use another tool? So, I & my friend created Deckster. Deckster already helps us to make sure each presentation hits the goal. And it helps us to spend much less time on preparation. We believe it can help you too. Deckster will make sure you will deliver your message to hit your goal. All that without leaving your favorite tool.

I really love this! I’m in web3 and we are always communicating virtually. When you have an idea to get across a deck is the best way to pitch a proposal to a community, but it is so hard to structure content!! I know what you mean with the pictures too!! 🥳 excellent problem to be solving. Canva’s Ai deck design helper should be trained on this. Love it!

congrats on the launch! i was curious if it was possible to implement a free trial so people could give it a try before paying. also, is it possible to create templates in Google Slides vs. PowerPoint? cheap people like me stopped paying for the Office subscription years ago :)

@pigpen thanks! Currently, it is only PP, but you can convert PP to GS on your own. We'll add other template formats later. If you wanna try I'll extend a personal free trial for you. Sign up and let me know, and I will take off the sub.
