We're actually trying a variation on this, which is website visitor -> physical address -> postcard. I think that attribution of website visitors is super useful, congrats on the PH launch @pekkakoskinen!
Pekka Koskinen
@inventitorfixit Thanks for the comment Jordan, that's a clever way of using website visitor data. I know that some of our customers are doing the same, it's kind of account based retargeting using physical mail. :)
Jordan
@pekkakoskinen whoa, they are! I'd love to chat with them to hear about their experience. We're just starting (the API is brand new).
Pekka Koskinen
@inventitorfixit Sure, people at our support and customer success team can help connect you with them. Let's move the conversation to the support chat on our website.

Love LeadFeeder and have been using it for many years. I would love it to be integrated with a tool like MouseFlow so that I could view visitor recordings for each company being tracked.
Christina Hall
@dannyrichman that's great to hear! Glad you are getting a lot of value from it. Just checked out MouseFlow, looks like a great tool ... will pass this on to our dev team as we keep track of Integration requests, thanks.

Hi @pekkakoskinen, @jaakkopaalanen, @herkkokiljunen, @jesseparnanen, congrats on your launch anniversary for Leadfeeder Contacts 🎉 What are your highlights from the past year? Epic Wins 🏆 1. 2. 3. Epic Fails 💩 1. 2. 3. What advice would you give to founders launching today? (...or yourself a year ago 🤔) What's the next year look like for Leadfeeder Contacts? 🚀
Pekka Koskinen
Hi all, I'm the founder and CEO of Leadfeeder. At Leadfeeder we have been working hard to help sales & marketing professionals leverage website analytics to fuel sales growth. That started with Leadfeeder 3 years ago and we continue today with the launch of Leadfeeder Contacts. The idea of Leadfeeder has always been to make b2b sales more intelligent. Leadfeeder connects with Google Analytics and provides salespeople information about companies that visit their website. Leadfeeder Contacts provides customers with contact information, including email address and social media profiles, for the key decision makers of these visiting companies. This closes the loop for many of our customers and gives them the information they need to make a warm sales connection in social media or by email. We are excited about the future and ask you to join us in fueling sales growth with website analytics! Thanks @benln for hunting us!
Paul Tomkinson
@benln @pekkakoskinen it's a great idea. Not sure I feel so good about being on the OTHER side of it, cause I always try to anon. view pricing tables and SaaS sites before deciding to engage. But this is a superb business opportunity for b2b.
Alec Lazarescu
@benln @pekkakoskinen I like the idea but the devil is in the details. Do you have any insights on what percent of traffic on average you can get info for? Also, how do you avoid just showing people by their ISPs like Comcast, FIOS, etc? Less businesses are managing their own IP address pools nowadays... Lastly, how would you say you compare with something like https://clearbit.com/reveal which seems to be in the same space though pricier. Thank you!
Pekka Koskinen
@paultomkinson Thanks for the feedback. It's good to remember and Leadfeeder does not identify people individually, we identify the company that visits the website and then provide contact details for the key decision makers in that company. So we cannot identify that you visited the pricing page, but someone from your company. It's a company level indication for sales people.
Pekka Koskinen
@alec1a Thanks for the good questions. In a typical B2B website we can identify the company of 30-50% of the visitors depending on which geographical area the visitors are from (Europe and US more, other regions less). We have gathered a database of ISPs (home broadband networks, mobile networks) and we are filtering those out so the lead list is cleaner. Clearbit Reveal is not our competitor, they only provide data about IPs to Google Analytics interface. Leadfeeder is a tool that gathers and matches data from GA, CRM, email tool and company databases, scores the leads, notifies salespeople about best leads and gives them an user interface to act on the leads while syncing everything back to their CRM. This is very different compared to Reveal.
Tim Tutt
@pekkakoskinen - am I correct in reading that you provide the email addresses of the specific individual that was visiting the website and not just the organization? Or just e-mail addresses of decision makers at those organizations?
Yaniv Goldenberg
Very useful product! Simple & elegant interface
Jesse Pärnänen
@yanivgoldenberg Thanks a lot Yaniv!

We have used Leadfeeder at eeedo for almost a year now and it is definitely worth the money. Their customer success is also top-notch.

Pros:

Works very well in Europe and Leadfeeder recognizes even some smaller companies.

Cons:

If the visitor is from a big corporation it is still very difficult to contact the right person.

Zac Johnson
So many brands get demographics targeting and lead management wrong. It's tools like these that give everyone an upper edge over the competition. The more you zone into your site traffic and better understand them, the better off you and your online business will be. Always good to see solutions like Leadfeeder getting the attention they deserve.
Jesse Pärnänen
@zacjohnson Thank you Zac!
S. Ketharaman
We're in B2B marketing, so this genre of tools is very useful for ourselves and our customers. We've tried SkyGlue and LeadFeeder in the past and have now settled on FastBase. FastBase actually gives us the email and telephone number of the visitor, not just the company name. NOTE to Product Hunt: We regularly use Hunter and have also tried a couple of other tools mentioned under your RELATED PRODUCTS section. They provide emails of people of a certain website / LinkedIn Profile and not of visitors to a given website. Ergo, they don't belong to the same genre as LeadFeeder / SkyGlue / FastBase. You might want to use this feedback to train the algorithm you use to curate your Related Products.
Christina Hall
@s_ketharaman thanks for your comment, and feedback. Glad to see that you are using IP based tracking for sales and marketing. With Leadfeeder Contacts you also get email address and social media profiles. You can get started in another free trial if you want to check out what's new.
James McAllister
Leadfeeder just continues to get better and better. It's no wonder they're dominating their space, or at least seem to be. No doubt this new feature will make the process of jumping on hot leads a lot more convenient and quick, saving time all around and shortening the sales process.
Jesse Pärnänen
@helpstartmysite Thank you James! We'll continue to add new features and make the product better, so stay tuned for future releases as well :)
Dadbeh Shirvanloo
Awesome product here for B2B email collection. But is there any other product/s that dose the same thing for the B2C market that automatically identifies the users email if they are singed in through Gmail or any other outlet?
Christina Hall
@dadbeh_s none that I know of. There are solutions of course that notify you when a contact in your database visits your website, but anything above that would violate terms of use and privacy laws. Thanks for your comment and for checking us out!
Shane Barker
I've been using Leadfeeder for a few months now and I love how you can create a custom feed. For instance, one of the custom feeds I created and use all the time is called "1 Minute or Longer" as I want to segment the leads that have been on my site longer than 1 minute. Overall it is an awesome product and they have great customer services.
Dylan Hey
@shane_barker Hi Shane, thank you for the great feedback. Being able to create custom feeds really helps to generate great sales leads, I'm glad you've been seeing the benefits of using this.
Jesse Pärnänen
@shane_barker Thanks a lot Shane! Custom feeds are a really quick way of segmenting your leads. I personally follow a lot of our marketing channels and what kind of companies are visiting our website from different content or marketing campaigns.
Lisa

I loved how quick and easy it is to set up- great videos to explain how it works and easy to follow.

Pros:

Easy to set up and find leads quickly

Cons:

Pricing a little high for solopreneurs.

Jesse Pärnänen
Thanks for the review Lisa!
Lisa
I was amazed how quick and easy it was to set up as I signed up for the free trial. I can't wait to see all the leads it is showing me from yesterday. The how to videos are done very simple and are easy to follow!
Jaakko Paalanen
@lisapatb Amazing feedback Lisa! Much appreciated. :)
Joy Healey
Getting the right leads to the sales team will save businesses time and money. Excellent product, and with a free trial on offer no reason not to check it out.
Jesse Pärnänen
@joy_healey Hi Joy, Completely agree with your comment :) Creating quality leads for your sales team should be a top priority for any business. We'll do our best to help you with that.
Ben Jacobson
This is a game-changing rollout. Unlocks unprecedented visibility into B2B content analytics in a way that empowers strategists, growth hackers and outbound sales pros alike. Congrats to @pekkakoskinen and the Leadfeeder team!
Swadhin Agrawal
Wow! What a great idea. I think getting to know who visited your website would help B2B companies know what other companies are in their niche, spying on them or interested to know more about them. I see tremendous amounts on lead generation potential here. :)
Jaakko Paalanen
@agrawalswadhin Thanks for the kind words and yes, there's lot of untapped potential! ;)
Reginald Chan
I think this is pretty cool. Definitely worth the follow and vote up. Sharing on Twitter as well!
Ryan Biddulph
This looks like an incredibly powerful tool. Any time you can seamlessly obtain contact information you set the table for a strong relationship, a long term bond, a prospering relationship for both parties. Coming in warm and building friendships is so much easier over the long haul, and having contact information is often the first step in that process.
Jaakko Paalanen
@ryanbiddulph Exactly Ryan! Thanks for your insightful take on this! Hope you'le take it for a trial.
Nirmala
The lead management should be done in the right and smart way. Nice video that precisely explains the feature of the service. I would like to go with its 30 days free trial. Thanks LeadFeeder, Kudos @pekkakoskinen
Christina Hall
@nirmala2002 we agree, it's all about lead management. Hope you get started in a free trial, keep us posted on what you think!
Tom Blue
Hey guys: Looks cool. Any plans to add direct dial phone numbers in there too?
Jesse Pärnänen
@tomblue Thanks for the feedback, Tom! We already have company phone numbers available on the company information. Maybe we can add individual phone numbers as well in the future.
