Daybridge Public Beta - A new calendar to help you make time for what matters

Hey, everyone! I’m Kieran, the founder of Daybridge. We’re back with another Product Hunt launch! Last time, we were hunted really early on in our development, and we were overwhelmed by the response. We’ve had over 30,000 people sign up for early access. Now, we’re ready to invite everyone to try it out and give feedback. It’s taken us about 18 months to get to this point. As it turns out, building a calendar from the ground up is really complicated! But we couldn’t be happier with the progress we’ve made so far. We’re super grateful for all the motivation the Product Hunt community has given us to keep pushing. One of the biggest challenges we’ve had is striking a balance between building the foundations (the stuff everyone expects a calendar to have), and the fresh new features we want to build. So far, we’ve spent most of our time getting the foundations in good shape. We’re excited to start shifting more of our energy into developing the stuff on our public roadmap. Moving into public beta is pretty scary for the whole team. I’m sure other makers will know that things never feel quite ready — there’s always a little more to do here and there. But we know that Daybridge can’t grow in the dark. I hope you’ll join our Beta and help us build an awesome calendar. Looks good! - Can I include not only Google Calendars? - Do you have a desktop app or only a web experience + mobile app?

Great product! Overall loved the UX of things. Just one thing, how do I add another person to the meeting?

I've been fortunate enough to have access to Daybridge since the Alpha. The product is outstanding, the consistent regular updates, attention to detail, and care that has been put into Daybridge speaks for itself. My favourite feature by far is creating a universal invite link to *any* event I create, whether that's a picnic with some friends in the park or a work meet-up – wave goodbye to bloated Facebook events. Amazing work @kieranmch, @svlleyy and team! 🎉

Hello, I have some questions about daybridge: 1. Are you planning to add an option to change/create the categories for events (including their colors preferably)? 2. Are you planning on adding integrated travel time to events? 3. I'm not American and would like to change the first day of the week to Sunday, use 24h clock etc. BTW if those features exist and I just didn't find them then sorry 😅 TIA

I use my personal google calendar for personal things BUT I like the look of this. The listing says is Free. Will it be free or Fremium?

Hi Daybridge team, can you explain in your own words what the advantage/difference is over using the default Google Calendar?

Sounds awesome. Would probably empathise on the "making time" aspect more - and how it differs from other calendars - also when it comes to planning with multiple people.. What I'm really missing (and almost wanted to build myself) is a tool where my friends could see where I am (hopping between 5 cities) / what I'm doing / how busy I am / how charged my social battery is. Could imagine pre-defined invites / requests to "hang out / go kayaking / go cycling / cooking " like creating an apple store appointment aka "pick a time slot" - and from that extend the event to more people. I see it a lot currently where multiple friends have different day rhythms but don't know which friend e.g. needs me the most at the moment - or is "most up to" hanging out. One thing: Thus far, from the the landing page alone the USP isn't getting super clear in my opinion. So far it looks like a polished calendar but the key features / differentiation should be communicated better. Have a great launch 🎉

I wish you success. 2 questions. 1- Will there be a sign of approval in the tasks in the calendar? As in Calendar 5 application. 2- Will you integrate with Apple calendar and apple reminders?

Connected my google calendar but the app asking me to download the Daybridge app. I’m in it?

@kieranmch Great job. But! why i can't add commets or notes to the event i created? For ex, i added an event at 10 o'clock to call my friend, and wanted to put there some notes. I couldn't do it, it's a very basic need and really important one. For now it's only blocker to move from GCalendar
