Datree helps engineering teams automatically enforce development standards, best practices, and security policies directly in their git workflow before code is deployed to production.
Rules are recommended based on your tech-stack like Docker, AWS or SOC2

We found Datree very useful even for an open source project. While our needs are a bit different, their rule engine is flexible enough to adapt for our needs.

@arikfr Its truly an honer that a 15k+ open-source project is using Datree <3 https://github.com/getredash/redash

@shimont Congrats on your launch! I am a huge fan of Shimon and his highly professional team at Datree. Looking forward to use it for some of my Serverless Framework based products.

@motymichaely Im blushing 😊 Thank you for your support Moty!

awesome product
Or Weis
Awesome! Makes total sense. With CI/CD becoming the critical channel, and all the burden R&D cycles puts on it, it is super hard to manage it and make sure all that we need goes through in time and under the right standards. We've actually implemented something like this internally. But this seems much deeper, with better control, and built-in policies we need but haven't thought of. Can't wait to try it.
Eyar Zilberman
@or_weis our biggest competitor is dev teams that are "forced" to build this kind of solution in-house because they want to make best practices and security policies are implemented - just like you :)
Shimon Tolts
Which source control do you use in your company?
Shimon Tolts
Hi Hunters, Im Shimon one of the Makers of Datree. I wanted to give some specific examples of policies that you get out of the box with Datree: * Prevent pulling containers from unverified sources. * Prevent secrets from being committed into the source control * Ensure compliance requirements (like SOC2, ISO-27001, etc.) are followed when writing code * And many more... Which development practices and security policies do you use in your company? I would love to hear more and answer and questions you might have :)
Devanand Premkumar
@shimont Congrats on your launch. How is your roadmap for integrations with environments like GCP repositories & Azure repositories?
Shimon Tolts
@devaonbreaches Thank you Devanand! We look on expanding our support to other Git vendors during the year. Our product is 90% Git based, so adding more source controls is relatively easy. Which one do you at your company?
Eyar Zilberman
@devaonbreaches We are still looking into it, but from our research (so far), it makes more sense for us to support GitLab & BitBucket first. BTW, don't forget CodeCommit (AWS) ;)

awesome tool for enforcing deployment policies and decreasing the amount of fires Devops need to put out

Or Hiltch
We have a pretty big data science team, and Datree works really well for us in improving the engineering culture of that team, helping us in importing best practices from our engineering teams into our data science workflow.
Eyar Zilberman
@orcaman, thank you for the support! Skyline AI is a great customer, and data science teams are an excellent example of how to use Datree to verify development practices enforced seamlessly, so also coders (and not just developers) can follow them.
Cameron
This is super awesome. Great job!
