@rrhoover first of all we believe that this app is useful and we don't like solutions on the market. And second, it was an experiment. Wanted to check how many people will download the app in a first few weeks. And we got featuring in App Store on the third day. 20k DAU after few days. Soon we will launch similar solution for kids with focus on family communication. And here planning to add some other useful features soon. Thanks for asking:)
I did this for every day in 2016 with the 1SE app. It's a nice way to remember the whole year further down the road. Got pretty much a habbit to take a video everyday, although I did notice how boring many of my days are :D

Great idea, but how is this any different than 1SE released several years ago?
@jorijn Thanks! Just try both apps and you will feel a huge difference ) The idea is old, but the implementation is absolutely new.
@v_urban I did, it became a bit more clear now. As a user with a 128G phone I save all my photos in Live format. It seems tedious to always use a specific app to capture a day. What 1SE excels in is that I can import these Live Photos and use them as 1 second video snippets.
Don't see this as criticism though, it's not intended as such. Yet, maybe I'm not the person for this idea :-)
@jorijn Agree, we will add Live Photos support! The main goal was to make very clear one-tap-app with main navigation based on swipes (like Snapchat). Now we will add some features for everyday usage.

Of course, we know 1SE, but our app is simpler and free) And we are working on few great features right now. So, we will try to find our user 👀

@timraiter @v_urban Hey guys, have you considered adding the ability to keep track of multiple 'stories' at once? For instance, I'd love to be able to take 1 second per day of my workouts, and separately catalogue my summer adventures. There is another app called One Second Every Day (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) that allows you to do this already.
@macconnollyco that is already works. You can add multiple stories by clicking plus button in Profile screen.
