👋 Product Hunt
My name is Craig and my brother and I are the co-founders of Currents. We are so excited to be launching today on Product Hunt! We built Currents because we wanted a place to manage the Things we own. A place that automatically keeps track of the market value, warranty status, recalls, and more; rather than having to look it up each time.
We started by pulling together this information for 300 popular electronics and created an app. Over time, we grew to support more of the Things our users wanted to track, while also making it easier for them to inventory along the way.
Currents now supports over 300,000 unique electronics and appliances as well as all US passenger vehicles. We have automated our process to pull all the information (resale/trade-in value, warranty status, recalls, repair guides, etc) and made it so you can ask questions via our Concierge feature.

Love this product concept. The idea of replacing that dingy stack of manuals and warranty docs in my basement with something that actually helps me deal with my stuff is super useful as a homeowner. Can't wait to see where this goes!
