What's the minimum account size? Is Crescent only for VC-funded startups, or smaller agencies and freelancers too?
@_dylan Hey Dylan, great question! We do not have a minimum account size. However, balances of $25k are required to earn interest in Crescent Cash (this will go away when we upgrade in Q2). Also, US T-Bills currently have a $1,000 to purchase through our broker partner, BNY Mellon Pershing.
We serve businesses of all sizes! From Pre-Seed to Series D, and also non VC-funded startups such as agencies and e-commerce companies.
Will there be programmatic access to create/manage accounts? Say someone wants to setup a marketplace where buyers and sellers could book-transfer and settle AR/AP?
With that size of partner banks -- it may even be possible to do it without a need to make new custodial accounts.

@garrypolley Great question, Garry! We currently programmatically create and manage all accounts for each business customer. The technology connecting banks together, called a "Cash Sweep" network, has existed for decades but hasn't been accessible to businesses.
We integrate with these networks for higher insurance and yield and add the fintech on top. We're upgrading in Q2 so you can do AR/AP in the accounts with instant liquidity! ⚡️
Your last idea is phenomenal. At scale, we'll build novel infrastructure built on internal ledger transfers vs only custodial accounts and money transfers.
