AI Agent: Proxy is a state of the art ui navigating agent, meaning proxy is powered by a model that has learned how to use the web like a human would. This means proxy can get work actually done for you, not just provide information.
Tools: proxy can access all your web tools (Jira, Github etc) without needing an API integration. Just request, login and watch Proxy get stuff done.
Templates: Get inspired and kick-start actions from a template you like, while still being able to tailor it to your work.

@marvin_purtorab Really nice. Altho, please make this a chrome plugin instead of a virtual machine. that way, my credentials stays on my machine. I cant hand over my credentials to a virtual machine. That would be negligence on so many levels on my part if something where to leak / get hacked etc. But for stuff that doesnt require logging in, this looks like the future! 🥰

Over the last few weeks, we've been working hard to improve Proxy:
Autonomy: Proxy solves problems more deeply, and is better at handling open-ended tasks
Resilience: Proxy recovers more often when encountering challenges on the web
Working with Proxy: Proxy now securely gathers credentials, saving effort and time
Automations: you can now edit automations, adjusting their prompts and timings

@andy_toulis When I tasked Proxy to log into my email, it asked me about my password. How would it handle these sensitive information? I know the website said don't give Proxy passwords, is there a way to take over and login myself like what Open AI does?
@fai_tung Yes, there is a way to takeover directly: the "Enter browser" button beside the send message button
The credentials form is separate from Proxy's AI agent. Using this form will directly type your credentials into the browser, securely without the agent ever seeing them. An easy way to test is to just ask Proxy: what were the credentials I just typed in? (it has no idea)
We just added this new credentials form feature, and we need to make it easier for people to understand, as well as building trust around it. Thank you for your feedback!

@sentry_co so after your task "completes" you will have the ability to turn the task into an automation. let me know if you need help setting that up!
@andy_toulis After using proxy for a few things. I found that it often times out. And gets stuck. Even for simple things like signing up to a newsletter. Or finding social media accounts on a landingpage. But its great start! Looking forward to the next iteration of Proxy. This is definitely something im going to use soon!
I found it very helpful in saving time with monotonous tasks (like checking multiple websites daily for news and sending me a summary). Best thing is that it keeps getting better every day.

I love that Proxy doesn’t require API integrations to interact with web tools like LinkedIn and Gmail. This makes it much more flexible than AI SDR tools that need heavy setups.

The fact that it actually takes action, not just provides info, is a huge step beyond most AI assistants. I love the idea of skipping API integrations and just having it interact with web tools like a human.
Tried agents for the first time tonight.. had it research for me. Great XP. Thanks for making my 1st time having an agent go off and do useful stuff a great xp!
Finally, I've had like 5 AI assistants who have been lazy & I want the one which is actually going to stick around :)
