ContentKing Academy - In-depth SEO articles and actionable SEO Guides

Hi all, I'm Steven, CCO at ContentKing 👋 Over the past two years we’ve invested thousands of hours in the ContentKing Academy. Naturally, as an SEO tool provider we do a lot of research. We keep updated on how search engines work, so we can mimic their behaviour as close as possible while monitoring our customers’ websites for SEO issues and changes. While doing so, we document everything we come across and add our own findings, as well as the findings from industry-leading SEOs. The end result? Our academy articles. While I’ve had a hand in almost all of the articles, I catch myself going back to them often to find details on their inner workings because there’s only so much you can keep in your short term memory (I’m not afraid to admit it 😅). How often do you plan to update the academy?

This is grand incredible to see how quickly this resource is growing and evolving.

As an avid user of ContentKing, I can say its a must have for any company doing content marketing through a blog. The real time monitoring is the killer feature IMO. I highly recommend it!

@stevenvvessum Loving it! Congrats! Totally unrelated: How do you guys deal with the currency on the website? I'm trying to figure it out for us @ https://deerdesigner.com but couldn't think of the best way, choosing which currency will be the fixed one, etc. Are you using a plugin, jquery, what? Thanks so much!

The team behind it are relentless in getting things out the door. The dedication really shines through in both the content they produce and the products they build.

I’m depth. Sourced from experts. Very up to date and delivered by experts.

Cons:

Some of it is not suited to beginners but to be honest that’s more of a pro nowadays

A really great set of articles covering all the SEO topics needed, from SEO basics through to in depth guides.

The first set of articles is SEO Fundamentals, then Mobile SEO, eCommerce SEO, International SEO, then a number of comprehensive SEO guides.

A great set of resources for beginners and experienced to use as a reference.

Bookmark worthy content; it's great to have an authoritative source for (technical) SEO items. Hopefully it will keep improving and growing!

Well written, concise yet thorough explanations of SEO fundamentals.

There's no way to see if information is up to date, some kind of "last modified" or "last verified" timestamp would be a nice addition.

Looks promising. Will give it a try. Have few thoughts around its B2B marketing if you guys do it often:- - Track companies who are actively hiring for roles like "content writers" or "digital marketing" or "SEO" as they are the ones who are investing in this function and more likely to try out your product. You could couple this with other qualification factors like their industry, no of employees, SAAS or not, ecommerce or not. - You could potentially reach out to companies who have recently launched their apps, websites, online store as they will be more likely to grow it via content. Have few more thoughts around it but this is something on top of my mind. Happy to have a chat if you want to go deep dive further on this.
