@adityavsc The main difference is that a year ago we only had an MVP which was one room where you could meet and speak.
Now, it’s a beta version of a social network, where you can find events to attend and meet interesting people. We’ve added features that our early users asked for: clubs and a desktop version as well.

I love this trend of services that let you move around in virtual worlds/rooms and talk with others. Reminds me of the good old times of WeeWorld, IMVU etc.
It’s kinda off though that it’s November 1st and the landing page is pushing me to join an event that takes place on… October 29 :)
I have this small question mark that constantly pops up on my head when I see a product similar to this - Are all these online meeting apps going to destroy the perfume industry or what?

I’m Igor Monakhov, founder and CEO of Connect.Club. I was raised in a small city where it was hard to meet like-minded, global-thinking people for the projects and interests I was into. The Metaverse solves this by connecting like-minded people regardless of space or time.
Informed by my passion to connect and network with interesting people, doers, entrepreneurs and innovators, I created Connect.Club, a new social network in the Metaverse. Our app is now live in the Metaverse where it’s connecting people in virtual rooms designed for positive emotional engagement.
We’ve also created educational, business and entertainment events to help people break the ice. In short, our app makes it easy to find like-minded partners as well as build communities for your projects and ideas.

Amazing app! I feel how people talk near with me almost physically because of interesting interactive and real-time movement. Video is here, audio is here, reactions is here, sharing your screen/video/presentation is here, broadcasting rooms is here, networking rooms is here, where you can talk in small groups on the corner in the room and nobody hears what you talk until come to you. I like it!

@andrey_bulezyuk hi! I'm glad we are not called "Meta Club" 😅 I watched the whole Facebook/Meta presentation yesterday, and even though I consider myself an expert in the Metaverse, I must admit that I was blown away. We will be fighting for the free and open Metaverse; this is for sure!

I've participated in an event on Connect.Club and it was amazing how natural the interactions felt. People could get on the stage, ask questions and simply make the event more engaging. Check out some of the events on the app right now. It's a refreshing experience.

I love observing how fast Connect.Club grows! Since I joined in January there’ve been added a lot of great new features. What interesting features you planning (or maybe develop it right now) for B2B?
For example - virtual office, worker statuses for user and etc.
@anatoly_ryzhakov great question, Anatoly! We have decided to make Connect Club B2C first, even though it seems more challenging. In a way, it would be easier to work with groups of people organized by shared workplace than with people that we need to organize around shared interests. But this is what we believe the world needs now - new genuine human connections.
However, B2B is super interesting for us as well – we are looking into making customized and branded spaces tailored to specific occasions, corporate events, collaborations with brands, tools to make stand-up meetings and presentations more effective, and more...
In fact, we ourselves are hosting all our company's meetings in Connect Club, open for the audience to attend) A wild experiment! Come see yourself 🚀
