@david_bensemoun Love the idea, David! As a designer, I often find it hard to track component usage across projects. How does Componly handle custom components or one-off design elements in projects?

Design systems are the backbone of creating consistent and stunning user experiences, but they can quickly become unwieldy. That's where Componly steps in.
Hugo
Exactly @ali_osman_alpagu ! Thanks for the nice words

Being able to clearly distinguish between components from the design system and those that are not is an invaluable feature. I can see how this would greatly enhance the monitoring and performance of the design system, making it more valuable for wider adoption. Have you considered integrating analytics or tracking features to provide insights on how often specific components are being used? I think it would be interesting to explore the possibility of automatically suggesting design system components based on the non-system components being used.
Mehdi Bachali
Hi @konok_nazmul thanks for your comment! Yes Componly offers analytics and tracking features to assess component usage, making suggestions for enhancing design system adoption :)
Paul Debailly
Thanks @konok_nazmul for sharing your thoughts! Like Mehdi said, yes that's include in our features list.
Chalie Clark
This looks promising for UI/UX folks. How about a collaboration feature for design teams?
David Bensemoun
Hi @chalie_clark nice one! It's in the roadmap, we focused on main features for the launch but we will definitely add more stuff in the future βš’οΈπŸ’ͺ

Hey there David! I'm astounded by your innovative approach towards simplifying design systems for React developers, such as myself! The automatic audits and adoption map feature are absolute game-changers for me, providing valuable insights and saving me time- much needed in my fast-paced work environment. Additionally, the prospect of increased adoption and seamless growth due to Componly's user-friendly interface and powerful analytics is quite exciting.
David Bensemoun
Hi @pavel_pantyukhov I'm really happy that other devs understand how this can help them. Thanks for your comment, and if you need a demo, we will be happy to show you the product in action!
Paul Debailly
@pavel_pantyukhov happy to read that

This is a cool idea and truthfully seems to solve a problem that I didn't realize I had until now. But I love they way it could help bring more considered implementation of new features in development. Congrats on the launch!
David Bensemoun
Haha @adayyy thanks for the kind words! More your product grows and faster you will face this problem, and then it will be a huge challenge to replace old deprecated components to new ones (especially while performing a redesign). That's why using Componly since day 1 can help a lot πŸ€“
Paul Debailly
@adayyy thanks mate!

Great idea. Wouldn't we normally include everything in our design system?
Mehdi Bachali
Hi @kingromstar, we typically include components meant for reuse across projects. However, sometimes developers still opt for custom components instead of the designated DS ones. Locating and updating these can be a real challenge. Componly automates this process with real-time data, and the data is updated at every new PR as Componly can be connected to the CI/CD pipeline. Means you have real-time data adoption :)
