Does it also look for things like localStorage or sessionStorage usage?
It might be helpful to add a feature that suggests specific changes to improve compliance.

Thanks for the message.
Right now it will do a scan to check the consent and if there is no consent banner it will then flag non-technical cookies as being non-compliant. It does distinguish between stored and session cookies though.
Congrats on the launch! I am just curious, How can you detect private cookies stored in the browser?

@chris_moore1 I'm using CookieConsent v3 on my sites and it doesn't seem to recognize it. I really appreciate you making it free. Could help a lot of people get compliant with this annoying issue. Especially for the European market.

@chris_moore1 thanks for the fast response. I just checked https://www.mailfox.dev/ but it said 0 cookies and 0 banners 🤔
@crebuh So it looks like the consent widget is implemented ok as there no technical cookies running on your site before the consent. The one cookie after consent (analytics) doesn't fire on page load which is how it should be (especially with GA4).
Regarding 0 banners, need to double check why that is. Some reason why the scanner is not seeing your widget script in the header or something. Thanks for flagging it!
