CollabKit — Add collaboration to your SaaS app

Hey 👋 I’m super excited to share CollabKit, a customisable React SDK that lets you add commenting to any SaaS app. Commenting helps your users more efficiently get things done as a team in your product. By keeping conversations next to the data or context, it’s easier for people to get up to speed, make a decision and take action. But doing comments well, like Notion or Figma, is really complex and users expect all the features like read-receipts, emojis, file sharing, email notifications etc. Our simple SDK can save you months of developer time. In a few hours you can enable your users to ask and answer questions like “Have we labeled these orders”, point out interesting metrics on dashboards or charts, or “Could you revise this?”. And because we provide components, CollabKit works with almost any type of interface. We want to arm every developer with the tools to add collaborative superpowers.. This is super cool! For anyone who has ever built a text editor, they know how hard and complicated (and necessary) it is to provide powerful commenting tools. I would be looking forward to an angular (or pure JS) SDK.

Congrats on the launch! In-app collaborative commenting had been on our to-do list at Cofactr, but working with CollabKit has allowed us to get this implemented and helping our users much faster than trying to build it ourselves.
