Cohere is the future of customer support and onboarding. Their software lets you easily see and control your users' screens, right inside the web browser, so you can help them directly without having to set it up by phone or Zoom.
Every startup with high lifetime value absolutely needs Cohere for customer retention and conversion. This is software that can make your company.
Now they've released Cohere Chime, so your customers can call you directly from your website – no links required. More than before, it's like standing next to your user while helping them fix issues live.
Whether you're a tiny startup or a giant company with millions of users, everyone should use it.
Wow, looks super neat. This would also be super helpful for conducting user research sessions. I've used those live intercepts before for research, but you still have to coordinate with a phone call and often they wouldn't answer.
What’s been the most effective way for you to acquire customers?
@tylerswartz We've found that the most effective strategy is offering live demos via Intercom when users hop on the site → Cohere Voice and a quick tour around the product. There's been a really positive response, and we get to use Cohere to showcase Cohere. Very meta!
Congratulations on the launch. 🙌 I was looking at Cohere a few days ago. It looked really impressive.
I have a question. We are using Crisp.chat right now. So Cohere looked a bit similar to Crisp's Magic Browser feature ( https://crisp.chat/en/unleash/be... )
Can you please share the advantages of Cohere over the Crisp's Magic Browse?
Hey Product Hunt! 🎉
We’ve all seen it — a Chinese restaurant’s phone number on the corner of their window, or a technician’s phone number attached to the washer you just bought. Fielding inbound calls is one of the oldest forms of sales and customer support, and we’re proud to share that we modernized it for the web!
With Cohere Chime, your users can start 1-click audio and video calls without having to leave your site — no meeting links, support codes, or software downloads needed. During the call, you can see exactly what your site looks like on the customer’s end, and even request to control their screen. It’s as close as you can get to physically teleporting next to your user and helping them through your site!
When I worked as an IT support technician in college, a customer would come by our IT help desk with a computer issue and I’d fix it in front of them. Since then, I’ve always wondered why online customer support couldn’t be just as easy – and now it is. I’m hyped to see how delighted your customers will be when they use it!
The experience is pretty magical – trust us when we say that you have to try it for yourself. Would love to hear what you think, let us know in the comments below, or at hello@cohere.so.
@cohere@yunyu pulling for y’all over “Meet for Slack”—your product seems like a cool idea—just threw you an upvote (I’ll chill down here in third place)
We’re big big fans of Cohere @ Ramp. Cohere has allowed us to deliver outstanding support and to onboard customers incredibly fast. New customers are consistently blown away by the seamless product experience. Keep up the good work 🙌🏻
Really impressive, congrats on the launch!!! Did you have any data about Cohere increased how much customer retention and engagement? So, if you have any data about that, you should share it with people who are your potential customers.
There's nothing like having a joint session to understand pain points and ship better products. Cohere has helped cut the distance between our internal teams and our customers to a single click. Game changer.
I sincerely wish I could have something like Cohere Voice at Amazon.
I work on an internal tool with thousands of users, and support becomes a nightmare of users filing tickets, slow screenshot exchanges, and awkward instances of “can you hop in a call real quick and share your screen?”
If my team had Cohere, we could observe bugs as they’re happening AND call the user right there!
As a product manager I found this tool to be one of the best in my tool belt!!
 Love everything about it ❤️
Especially the ability to provide low been with walk-through to my customer without hindering the product experience: something that is very frequent over zoom calls
Cool! It is a great tool on these lockdown & telework times in order to provide better customer service nowadays. What is the average internet bandwidth needed per customer?
@williampv The screen sharing sends DOM elements instead of pixels, so it requires very little bandwidth (<~10kb/sec in most cases) unless you request a full screen share. The bitrates dynamically adjust during audio calls, but it should average at ~192kb/s.
Can this be integrated into the app?
100% of chats are initiated via our apps, and most conversation is in Urdu text or Voice message. The voice message is a key feature for us.
Great idea! I just discovered this tool and already changed the way we support our users. Great addition with video calls and screen sharing. Only problem, if you have a HTML canvas, you can not interact and quality needs to be decreased. Other than that works great with a normal website.
Product-driven SaaS companies want to hear more of their customer's voice (or at least know that they should), but existing workflows are tedious & disjointed, like moving from ticket/email thread to scheduling to the actual customer call days/weeks later.
With Cohere Voice, you can easily embed a customer voice channel directly into your product. I'm definitely looking forward to human-centric onboarding & support to become the default across more apps.
Congrats on the launch!
Awesome product! I wonder if could integrate Akkadu Multilingual SDK (rsi.akkadu.com) allowing foreign clients to communicate with AI Translated Subtitles or Professional Interpreters
