What’s your favorite part of the video creation process?

We’ve talked a lot about the pain points in video creation, but what about the parts you actually enjoy?

Is it scripting? Storyboarding? Editing? That final moment when everything just clicks?

Curious to hear what parts of the process make it worth the effort for you. Drop your favorite bit below – would love to see what others vibe with too.

Scripting and coming up with ideas. The rest is sometimes pain :D

Ashutosh Raj
@busmark_w_nika agreed! Ideation always makes me feel like an artist!
Nika

@ashutosh_raj TBH, my seasons are so mixed. Sometimes I have hard time to come up with an idea and would rather edit and then vice versa.

@busmark_w_nika Thats a great answer Nika. Also i think a strong connection and visulization. Thinking for hours and geting that one prefect hook for the video is something that makes the video hit. What is your take on this ?

Nika

@suvam_deo Thumbnail is also important. Depends on what social media you create content for.

Luigi Fernandez Ortega

Definitely the creativity burst at the start! Brainstorming concepts and sketching the storyboard is where the magic happens for me.

But my ideas often outpace my actual motion-graphics chops. Has anyone here found an AI tool that can turn those high-concept storyboards into polished marketing videos without a Hollywood skillset? Would love recommendations!

Ashutosh Raj

@luigi_receiptorai Totally get that! The early burst of ideas is gold, but turning it into something polished can be the real bottleneck. That’s actually a big reason we built Clueso – to help folks go from rough walkthroughs or raw recordings to engaging videos without needing deep editing skills. Feel free to explore clueso.io if you're curious.

Thes scripting and visualization for sure !

Ashutosh Raj

@suvam_deo Love that combo! Scripting and visualizing is where the whole vibe of the video starts to take shape. Do you usually sketch it out first or just build as you go?

Suvam Deo

@ashutosh_raj I do have map up sketch. Some notes and then finally the script.

@ashutosh_rajI think the most satisfying moment is when the final video turns out exactly the way you envisioned it -every frame, every detail just clicks.

Ashutosh Raj
@sania_khan10 oo for sure! I mean it definitely feels like an achievement isn't it! Btw, customers have been mentioning to us that the struggle of editing and making things picture perfect (quite literally haha) is now a breeze with Clueso.
sania khan

@ashutosh_raj Yeah you're right.

For me, it's definitely that moment in the editing phase when the visuals, music, and timing all just click like suddenly the story feels alive.

Ashutosh Raj
@abod_rehman wow! How long have you been creating videos ?
Rachel Long-Smith

I really love filming but find the editing part rather laborious.

Ashutosh Raj

@rachel_long_smith 100%! Filming feels expressive and fun, but editing can quickly turn into a grind.

We’ve seen a lot of folks say the same, which is why we’ve been focused on making that part way less painful. Curious if there’s a specific part of editing that slows you down the most?

PRASIT GHOSH

Only the creation part, I make videos using screen recorder and using my own voice but the editing part is always so boring for me, If I could generate more profit from all my hustles then I will definitely hire editors and will delegate the editing part as soon as possible.

Ashutosh Raj

@prasit Totally hear you! Creating with your own voice adds so much authenticity, but yeah, editing can really drain the energy out of it. Honestly, so many solo creators say the same: if they could skip that step without sacrificing quality, they’d do it in a heartbeat. A lot of folks feel like hiring an editor is the only way out, but that’s exactly the kind of gap we’re trying to close with Clueso – helping creators skip the grunt work without needing a whole team. Might be worth a look before you start scouting editors.

PRASIT GHOSH

@ashutosh_raj I will look into it for sure.

My favorite part is when I’m deep into editing and suddenly everything starts to click the timing, the music, the flow. It’s like the video finally comes alive, and all the hard work starts to make sense. That moment always hits different.
Ashutosh Raj

@emiske77 That moment is magic, isn't it! When everything just locks into place and the story feels right. It’s wild how all the scattered clips and edits suddenly become something cohesive. Definitely makes the grind worth it.

Diana Penny

To be honest i enjoy the editing part. Weeding out the un necessary, retaining the great parts, perfecting the outcome.

Ashutosh Raj

@dipenny That’s such an underrated skill – knowing what to cut is just as important as what to keep. There’s something really satisfying about tightening things up and watching the final version shine. Btw, if you ever want to speed up that editing grind without losing control over the final output, Clueso might be worth checking out.

I’m not a pro video creator, but as an accessibility specialist, I’ve been experimenting with videos for social media as well as training and onboarding content. I think my favorite part is testing early cuts with real people with disabilities. I’ll share one with a friend who uses a screen reader, or someone with dyslexia, and just wait for their their reactions and honestly, 99% of the time, their feedback is eye-opening, and always improves the end result.

Ashutosh Raj

@a11yexpert Wow! love this perspective. Testing early cuts with people who actually experience the content differently is such an underrated superpower. Totally agree — those insights almost always reveal things you’d never catch otherwise.

Would love to learn more about what you've found helpful or lacking when it comes to accessibility in video tooling. Your feedback would be super valuable as we build!
