Hey, Product Hunt! 👋
We've been asked repeatedly to launch on Product Hunt over the past year but I just wasn't ready. As a product person, I'll probably never be satisfied with our product; so screw it, let's just do this!
ClickUp was first created as an internal tool out of frustration from having to use several productivity tools—nothing allowed everyone to work together in one place.
ClickUp isn't just project management software anymore, though; with the release of ClickUp 2.0, it's now a platform where everything you work on is in one place - tasks, docs, goals, chat, reminders, calendars, and even an Inbox. Plus, you can create and embed custom views.
Our philosophy is listen to users, and ship fast - in line with our mission of making the world more productive. We ship a new version of ClickUp every single week - and we'll never stop.
In just 1.5 years, we are incredibly lucky to be sustainable and profitable with over 60,000 teams using ClickUp, and we couldn't be more grateful.
Our apps are available on Web, iOS, Android, Chrome, Mac, PC, and many more: https://clickup.com/apps

@djcurfew thanks for working so hard on ClickUp. I have never seen s product in the PM/productivity category that good and growing & developing that fast. I'm impressed and we're using it for half a year already and it's gooooood.
It would be even better if we'd have Mac desktop notifications ;)
Thank you SO much to everyone for your incredible comments. Unfortunately Product Hunt has banned and censored us because we got too many upvotes. As someone who was so excited launching here especially given our product-led growth, I am very saddened to learn that a platform is censoring exactly what they claim to exist for. Product Hunt sucks anyways and needs some competition. I'm going to create a new product platform!
@djcurfew Glad to see CU 2.0 on PH!!
Everyone on the interwebs knows I test and implement practically every SaaS tool on the planet for use in my companies in real life (IRL, as the kids are calling it these days lol)
ClickUp and definitely now CU 2.0 is by far my favorite tool of all time!
Keep it up guys!! :)

I've tested dozens of project management tool (Jira + Podio + Trello + Mondays + Basecamp + Asana + Airtable +....) until I finally found ClickUp almost two years ago.
We've been using ClickUp 2.0 since more than two months at Monito, and it's really amazing how it helped us re-organize the way we work.
For me it's the exact right balance between a tool that is flexible enough to adapt to any workflow you want to put in place while being sufficiently opinionated for things to work intuitively for everyone in the team.
One of the unique aspect for ClickUp for me is the ability to make really big kanban boards while using the "views" feature to create different views that zoom in on specific dimensions of the board.
I'm amazed by the the fast pace at which the ClickUp team ships new feature (really looking forward to having automations), congrats @djcurfew
@djcurfew@pascal_briod Can you share an example of this? Would love to see how you're using views inside Kanban. Still v much a ClickUp rookie and would love to leverage it more.

We have also used several other tools before Clickup (Podio, Trello, Teams, Asana). We swithed from Asana a few months ago after almost two years using it. The migration was a breeze. We did not lost any of our ongoing tasks. It was quite easy to setup, easy to teach the team. One hour of training and they all were fit to use the app and understand the way we use it. It has so much more features. I am quite impressed to be honest. Clickup is not only making task management, but challenging the usuals ways of working and improving them.
Clickup is the best platform I've ever worked on. I've been using it for months now and I've never been happier.
We develop virtual reality projects at my company I love custom fields and the different views. and I use it to manage my personal life. it's just great
Amazing management tool, adopted in our company after trial period of 2 months. The support is AMAZING. These people listen to the users. Keep it on guys
ClickUp is by far one of my favourite platforms to use in my own business + even for personal tasks! I use it by myself and with my clients, and it's been the ONE platform I've been able to house everything in easily.
I first tried ClickUp just over a year ago, and honestly got a little overwhelmed at how to set it up - because ClickUp, even before 2.0, could be set up HOWEVER you wanted, and that felt daunting! But after trying a toooon of other tools (Airtable, Notion (which I admittedly still use for note-taking and don't make enough use out of!), Monday.com, Asana, Trello, Basecamp) I ended up coming back to ClickUp in January, because I knew it was exactly what I needed.
Since then I've been able to:
:: set up my own personal tracker that helps me keep my tasks on track throughout the week
:: set up client projects + have clients interact within ClickUp to provide feedback on their tasks + projects
:: add so many views + bring my whole project eco-system within ClickUp thanks to 2.0 and their views
and SO much more. I couldn't be without ClickUp now - I'm using it every day, several times a day. And their support team is absolutely fantastic and couldn't be more helpful whenever I need it! Can't wait for the dashboards + automation to make my processes even smoother than they already are 🥳
I searched for the ideal productivity software for many years. About 6 months ago, when I found ClickUp, the search finally ended. The customizability of the program, combined with the extraordinary customer support and responsiveness to users has convinced me I've finally found what I've been looking for.
My colleague and I introduced ClickUp at our small creative marketing agency 2SINN in Königstein, Germany a few months ago and both management and our colleagues were hooked immediately.
It's a great tool to manage projects, tasks and workflows inside a company. It's super intuitive, easy to use and understand, incredibly useful and we're really happy we discovered it. The only thing we're missing is a way to add comments and descriptions when we log times spent on a task (Bitrix24 offers that), and a "stop watch" to use for time tracking without having to install the browser extension.
On top of that, we really appreciate the way the ClickUp makers engage with the community, listen to feedback and care about constantly improving their product. We're stoked about the upcoming v2.0.
We moved from Trello to ClickUp 2.0 - For the business it's like going from 90's dial-up internet to a 2019 1 Gig Connection. We keep Airtable for helping clients to provide us the information we need.
Before 2.0 we couldn't have made the switch as we have a lot of information that required dedicated 'zones' to be kept in. With the addition of their document and internal Wiki Feature, training new staff and storing the right information in the right area has never been easier.
I had previously spent a good deal of time automating Trello tasks to remind team members of deadlines, occurrences and priorities (and to close when finished). With click up, I don't have to do that, you just create a task in the right area, assign the people needed, then you have the option to select the due dates and priority.
One thing that's really 'rocked our world' is the sub tasking ability. for each main task you create, you can create any number of sub-tasks with their own employee assignments, due dates, attachments and descriptions.
When transferring over I had a lot of lists to convert into tasks. ClickUp automatically detects a list and gives you the option on how to import it. Sadly there's no way currently to just grab a Trello card/ board and convert it to tasking, but the process ended up a lot quicker than expected, and for the structure alone it was worth remaking some.
If you run any business at all, you owe it to yourself to give ClickUp a trial.
Also If you're away from your business, the mobile app is great. There may be some limitations but I've not found them yet.
It's an awesome tool to work with in our manufacturing company Schmierer GmbH in Germany. I tested our dozens of tools but CLickup combines just the best features into one awesome interface that is veryintuitive and easy to use.
I've been using ClickUp for over a year now. I transferred from Asana and never looked back. ClickUp is a functionally rich product with an amazing development team who are constantly releasing updates and new features. If I was to compare Asana and ClickUp, I'd say Asana lacks a lot of basic features that ClickUp has in their free plan. I've tried other products like Evernote and Notion out of curiosity but they don't offer the kind of functionality that ClickUp does. It does so much and it does it well. It gives you the ability to use it in a way that works for you and your team. I don't think there's anything lacking that would stop a company from introducing across all teams as their main project management and comms tool. I have introduced it to 2 companies now and they are super impressed with it. ClickUp user for life.
i have tried all well-known project management & todo apps. Not one of them even comes close to ClickUp. I have resigned myself to the fact that the tool I need simply does not exist. Until I found ClickUp
The funny thing is, I was skeptical at first because I discovered ClickUp by accident. I never saw anything of ClickUp by googling. Suddenly another app told me that there is a ClickUp integration now. I looked at ClickUp and was absolutely thrilled.
I can really map any of my workflows for different type of projects. Marketing Campaigns, Development Projects, organizational stuff. There is really no limits. Multiple teams with projects and subfolders. Lists, Boards, Gantt, Calendar Sync with Estimates and much more. Unbelievable.
In German we call something like this an "Eierlegende-Wollmilchsau".
Thats what ClickUp is.
Thank you guys. I will never go back to any other tool.
Clickup is amazing. We switched from Asana after several years of using it. We were beyond mad at asana's lack of support even as paying customers, and how slow they move to release updates like going between board and list view which took YEARS of HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS on the asana forums! Clickup has been very responsive to feedback and the new version is much easier to use though there's definitely still some confusion around all the layers of hierarchy (workplace vs space vs project / folder - too many layers to understand!)
