How do you approach SEO for ChatGPT (AI) purposes?
I won't hide the fact that instead of entering key phrases into Google, I'm now redirected to the GPT Chat and asking complex questions.
Over the past year, ChatGPT has become the 5th most visited website in the world, and most recently, it also recommends products.
It is clear to me that people will want their brands to be included in ChatGPT responses.
👉 How do you approach SEO or techniques that will ensure that chatpgt mentions you?
(Has anybody started solving this?) Your POV is appreciated.

I'm still on the learning and experimenting side on this topic, but I have a friend who's been focused on making ChatGPT mention her company, and she documented everything here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-i-made-genai-search-tools-recognize-portxchange-source-sopco-aua5f/?trackingId=PGd94HybR1%2B645YjmrS%2FSQ%3D%3D
I do have a small win for Lifetoon, tho - yesterday GA4 showed us that we had the first person coming on lifetoon.me from ChatGPT, and I did do a small victory dance in my office :))

Great question—AI-first SEO is the next frontier. We're moving from keyword stuffing to building semantic authority. Clear, structured content + strong brand presence across trusted sources is key to showing up in AI answers.
@parth_ahir Completely agree. Especially with GPT's web search capability having media presence (PR, blogs, content) will be crucial.

@parth_ahir Do you think that actual websites and their blogs will receive less traffic? (personally, it is my reckon)
