Hi all, Scott here from charity: water. I’m here today because my debut book Thirst (and passion project for the last two years) finally goes on-sale today!
In case you aren’t familiar, charity: water is the nonprofit I founded 12 years ago that provides clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. In Thirst, I write about the crazy, twisted journey that led me to create charity: water — including my 10-year stint as a nightclub promoter — as well as the key decisions and promises my team and I made regarding transparency, efficiency and positivity when we built the organization, with a vision of reinventing the traditional charity model. In that vein, 100% of my net author proceeds will go towards charity: water projects in the field, so more people across the world gain access to clean drinking water.
