Wassup, Product Hunt!

It’s been a while since our last update, and for good reason. Celaro has officially moved from private to public beta!

We started Celaro because we, ourselves, struggled to find project trackers designed with the creative workspace in mind. A project tracker that naturally bridges the gap between creatives like us and project management.

While our vision is big, with integrations, workflows, and much more, we’ve focused this release on one core thing: making task and project management straightforward.

That meant stripping away the noise instead of cramming in every feature at once, which would've only led to a buggy and frustrating experience.

What’s Live Today:

Boards
Clean Kanban layout with smooth drag and drop. Use drawers (like folders) to keep everything organized without the chaos.

Stages
Split projects into real phases like design, development, and QA. Each stage gets its own board so nothing gets mixed up.

Tasks
Add priorities, labels, comments, and use a block-based editor that actually feels good to write in. Perfect for notes, specs, and ideas.

Task IDs
Auto or manual IDs that connect easily to branches and pull requests. No more guessing which task goes with what.

✅ Focus Mode
No more, "oh there is another new comment, let's read it"-moment. Let the focus mode direct you to what is actually important.

🔮 Coming Soon:

🎯 Cursor/VSCode & Figma Plugins
Work where you already are. View and manage tasks right inside VSCode or Figma. No context switching, no lost focus.

🔗 GitHub Integration
Connect your repo and let Celaro handle the boring bits. Auto-create branches, draft pull requests, and sync it all with your tasks.

↔️ Stage Life Cycles
Tasks can move between stages automatically. Done with design? Celaro can send it straight to dev. No manual work needed.

🤖 Automated Reviews
Let Celaro help out with code and design reviews. Get smart suggestions to improve your work without slowing down.

✍️ AI-Generated Task Drafts
Turn quick notes or half-formed thoughts into fully structured task drafts. Celaro learns from your existing tasks to match tone, format, and context, so writing tasks takes seconds, not minutes.

📋 Planning Boards
Think of it like a digital whiteboard. A space to throw out raw ideas, map out thoughts, and brainstorm freely.

Once things start taking shape, you can turn the best ones into real tasks, quick and easy.

🌀 Sprints
Plan and run sprints without the overhead. Set goals, track progress, and keep your team moving at a steady pace.

⚙️ Workflows
Build simple automations to handle repetitive tasks like changing statuses, syncing with GitHub, or pingning the right people at the right time, so you can leave those manual tasks behind.

Time Tracking & Forecasting
Track how long things take, make better estimates, and forecast timelines without a clunky UI or spreadsheet vibes.

We know this isn’t the final version of Celaro. It’s still evolving. But as you can see above, we’ve got a lot in the pipeline.

One thing to keep in mind: we always appreciate feedback. If you want to help shape the future of Celaro, connect with us on X or LinkedIn. We’d love to hear from you!

Alex Indie
It's a good project. Do you plan to develop a client or APP?
Philip Dren

@axindie Thanks! We're planning on creating a client (using Electron).

Desmond

Love the focus on preserving creative flow! does Celaro offer visual timeline views or mood-board integrations to keep inspiration aligned with project milestones?

Philip Dren

@desmond_ren1  Glad to hear you like the concept 🙂

Adding support for mood-board either directly in the app or by integrating has been in our mind yes and will most likely be available in the future.

Leonard Ang

Great project! Any integrations that this will come with?

Philip Dren

@leonard_ang Thanks! 🙂
First integration on the roadmap is GitHub and then we will continue to add more and more.

André J

Great stuff! Linear definitely needs some competition! Watching this project 👀

Jun Shen

This fills a gap for creative workflows! 👍

Clean product simon happy to see it in public beta. Looks like we are launch day twins or something anyway, wishing you all the best.
