Hi Danny thanks for your message,
1 - This will work yes. But you need to have the contacts on your contact list
2 - There is no limit
3 - You need to create a group in WhatsBlast and select the contacting from your list, there is no way to upload a CSV.
Unfortunately I was asked to close the app (find more info here: https://medium.com/@sandoche/why...) Otherwise I would have improved it with CSV or I may have built a web version with CSVs. You may be able to find some apk on google but it's illegal.
Hello people π!
When I was a student I used a lot group bulk messages to invite my friends for a party or a dinner. After lot of trial and error I noticed that a customized message with their name on it got a lot more answers than just a generic invitation message. That is why I built recently the app TextBlast, a bulk customize SMS app.
However, nowadays people are using more and more WhatsApp instead of the traditional SMS. That is why I am proudly releasing today WhatsBlast.
WhatsBlast helps you to send personalized mass messages easily using your friend's name (with the option of editing before sending). It will take you 5 minutes instead of 5 hours ! I hope you like it and also helps you to save some time
WhatsBlast is perfect for marketing and communication campaigns on WhatsApp !
*Note that it's not 100% automated, WhatsBlast prepares and prefils your messages for each contact, but you will still have to press the sending button Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
@mikedane7 The app doesn't save any data. The WhatsApp messages are sent by your own device, the app will just open WhatsApp for each contact and prefill the customized message.
Hey Sandoche,
Loved the idea and the concept! Couldn't find anything like it.
While researching about the idea, I found this--> https://m.economictimes.com/tech...
I would like to get your opinion on it!
And how would this if or if not, affect your startup!
@tanish_shewani Hi thanks for your comment. I don't think WhatsBlast will be affected since it just prefill the messages, it doesn't send them, the user has to send them. Which affects the speed of sending compared to a full automated solution.
Also, I guess the user may have problems if he misuse WhatsApp by spamming users or contacting unkown users (that may report / block them).
Very good update from TextBlast!
I know in countries like France where SMS were free and unlimited everyone was (and is still) using the traditional SMS, but for example in Spain we only use WhatsApp. It's the most popular messaging app in the world, this is a good move!! π good work!
AND it would NOT be harm to build custom messaging groups or logical/virtual group of contacts saving the time of picking and choosing the contact groups.
Have longed for such a product to make it to the market. However, this solution wouldn't be complete with a scheduler and some templatized messaging in-built for sending out event-specific wishes and recurring reminders. Is that something that the product team at WhatsBlast would be factoring in or are these features already part of the product roadmap and would be rolled out in the features list in the future?
I have more then 4600 contacts in groups. But in this programme, it's just one big list. And can not find a new in a search. You have to scroll down, that's useless
@ewd67 Well thats ok, and a nice way would have been to suggest the feature gently. The maker does not owe you shit, and you have absolutely no right to be the douchebag that you are behaving like currently.
@sandochee I have already sent a link to a friend that organizes meetups on meetup(dot)com. If you have not already, then I would suggest targeting event organizes on meetup and eventbrite.
