I'm Tom, co-founder and CEO of Café. Today we’re (re)launching Café, for a good reason: after thousands of user interviews and feedback, we figured out that connecting people in hybrid is wayyy more important than just “booking the right space” As we’re spending less time in the office than ever before, it’s become harder to sync with our favorite coworkers or foster new and meaningful relationships — now you have to be intentional about the time we spend at the office, and you deserve a platform that empowers you to do just that.
🙀 ... but why do WE care?
In 2020, me and my Co-Founder and brother @sysless, realized that the less time we spent socializing with our teammates, the more disconnected we felt. In an office-first culture, forced remote working impacted collaboration, productivity, and morale.
Working in hybrid means that you might miss out on seeing your work besties for weeks or - even worse - months. As the Great Resignation happens, we’re seeing that the place of work can be replaced, but the relationships we make inside of them cannot - they’re the lifeline of any and all organization. And it’s about time we focused on creating a transparent and flexible-first environment, that empowers people to integrate work with life, not the other way around. Our goal is to foster global belonging through human connection, location flexibility and cross-team cohesion.
💫 What’s the product about?
Café gives you visibility over who’s where to better decide where to work from. Our product offers new ways to collaborate and socialize: you can easily align your plans with teammates, discover internal communities, and find out about events, celebrations, or new hires!
Café promotes flexibility by letting people meet in offices, coworking spaces or even cafés. We also match you for in-person coffee chats (we call ‘em Expresso Meetups) to encourage social serendipity, among other surprises 👀 🎁
We’re is available on iOs, Android, and through Web app.

What a cool product, I don't think i have come across a tool like this one. Hybrid model is the future work and cafe is the tool to manage the upcoming future. Congratulations on the launch 🚀
