With Bubbles you can collaborate by simply clicking anywhere on your screen. Drop a comment and start a conversation with anyone. It is as simple as click, comment and share.
Hey Hunters,
We are excited to bring you Bubbles, solving the pain of trying to show what you're talking about!
Even before COVID, we saw how hard it could be for remote teams to collaborate. Now of course, we’ve all been forced to rapidly adapt and adjust our way of working, and the need for even better collaboration tools has become extremely apparent.
That’s why we built Bubbles. Our goal is to help people and teams communicate and collaborate as if they are in the same room. We are taking the screen sharing experience to the next level, so that collaboration doesn’t get in the way of doing great work.
With Bubbles you can quickly start a conversation with anyone, by dropping a comment on anything you see on your screen, and sharing a private link to start a conversation – in the context of what you see.
Some highlights about Bubbles:
1. Capture a screen recording or screenshot of whatever's on your screen
2. Drop text or audio comments at the right place and time
3. Share a unique secret link with your teammates (no sign on required)
4. Highlight important points in your recording
5. Close out issues asynchronously
Our team is distributed globally and we are building Bubbles to make collaboration delightful, we hope you enjoy it and would love your feedback.
Thanks @jmj for hunting us!
Have been using Bubbles for a few months now with my team and with other creators. Love the ease of use - had been looking for a tool like this forever and now find it so easy to collaborate.
Thanks for building this!
Fantastic tool to provide visual feedback in context! Easy to use and to the point! just discovered today about screen recording with comments! Awesome!
First, congratulations on the launch!
I discovered Bubbles a few weeks ago because we used Loom before and because of their new limitations on the Free plan, we had to find another replacement... and Bubbles was the candidate.
Great UI and UX, easy to use, but the only two main features we need are:
- Up to 15 minutes of recording at least.
- Password protection.
The password protection is a must for us because we are devs and in a lot of videos we share between us, they may contain API keys, tokens, etc.
Do you have plans to provide password protection?
@saenzramiro first off thanks for the support!
With regards to your questions, these are items we have planned out in our future road map and is just a matter of when and how we release them. But I would love to learn more about how you guys are using bubbles at rambox. I have sent you a DM on Twitter :)
Gosh I love Bubbles. And it doesn't even require a sign up! Simple and useful. They recently added video capture and timestamped comments which are super useful for bug reporting and QA in general.
I've just discovered Bubbles and already in love with the product🤩! The best thing I loved is the ability to leave comments at the needed place during video recording. Congrats on launching!
Bubbles is taking asynchronous collaboration to the next level. Being able to share anything on screen and collaborate with anyone has been a game changer. I'm thrilled to support @tom4 and team on this great product!
Hey @eliezer_steinbock1, you can deactivate links by pressing on your avatar on the top left and choosing "deactivate link". This will make your link unavailable to viewers.
I <3 Bubbles.
Everything you can do with it is so powerful, simple and effective. My workflow for making copy changes and design improvements on landing pages, illustrations and designs will never be the same again. So easy to share, collaborate and get things done on my end. Working with developers is seamless for both us marketers and the techies. Awesome stuff.
Look forward to seeing this product grow. Cheers to the makers and the team behind Bubbles!
Show a video of a collaboration in action to make this a lot more credible. It sounds good but those screenshots could have easily been cooked up in an editor.
There are many people putting out just landing page experiments and fake screens so it's important to show your app in action to prove it's real.
Looks pretty neat and easy to use! I was using Loom and this seems like a great alternative. What's the max recording limit? Couldn't find any details on the website, unfortunately.
Awesome product! So far, the easiest feedback sharing SaaS platform I can find. I have mainly used the screen grab for feedback and will try the video method soon as well. Keep up with the great work guys!
I've been using Bubbles over the last 4 months, giving UX feedback to products on here, across design communities, and within design projects with clients.
I have to say, Bubbles is one of the easiest tools to share designs, and receive feedback straight from project stakeholders.
I've saved countless of hours not having to send emails back and forth responding to feedback comments, solving them straight through a Bubble post.
Highly recommend using this tool for the next project you have to give/receive feedback from.
Wishing the best of success to the Bubbles team!! @tom4@shaungards@barbragago
@rrhoover and I use Bubbles* at Weekend Fund: internally and externally to give feedback on websites, app flows and more.
It's the best way we've found to give feedback in context: none of that take a screenshot, share in slack, start a 234324 long comment thread. Just show what you mean. There's no going back once you start using Bubbles.
*Weekend Fund is an investor and a fan
I've been using Bubbles for the past 5 months and LOVE how easy the product is to use, even for non-tech people.
Product / design is the obvious use case but I've found that it works well for "consultations" where you want to address specific points within a paragraph.
i.e., imagine you're peer-reviewing someone's paper or adding feedback on a workout/diet plan.
Definitely worth checking out!
Hey @sebfung, this is particularly enjoyable to read. Part of what we do is to give the visual collaboration superpowers of tools for professionals to everyone, so that we can all collaborate together. Your review is a great testament to this. 👍
I'm kind of confused. From the marketing material, I got the impression that I was annotating directly onto a live URL, but it seems like it's just taking a screenshot or recording. Is this true? In which case, how does it differ from all the other screen recoding tools, like CloudApp, which is what I use to annotate.
Very surprised and happy to see Bubbles on PH today!
From my experience seeing bubbles evolve and the amount of work Tom has put into it, I'm confident this is the best product for collaboration on the market.
Give it a try and see for yourself!
Props to Tom and Team!
