I've always been drawn to self-help and personal development. I see every day as a chance to gain some ground. So if you can relate to me, you know the feeling when life forces you to take ten steps back.
When I hurt my lower back, I frequented YouTube videos of ways to improve my body condition. What I noticed was that not only were conscious activities like stretching and strengthening vital to the body, but also subconscious ones as well. The small details like... having a healthy pelvic tilt, proper posture, or being well hydrated was pocket change that could really add up to something more significant.
I was inspired to build an app that would alert me to the tiny details that I couldn't do consistently on my own. Bubb. at its core is a gong... an app that brings one back to self awareness. All you do is create your soft reminders that trigger at random during a bookends of appropriate time.
Bubb. also features a community of shared Bubbs. Share what helps you hack your own habits to inspire others - and download others' as well.
Finally - widgets have been integrated to help reinforce your soft goals. If a Bubb. notification pops up - say "Call your parents," but now's not the right time - you'll get the option to pin that message to your widget. Now you've got a sticky widget for sticking habits that's always relevant and changing (and not a nuisance!).
This is great! I was actually looking for something like this last week and ended up setting up iOS shortcuts. This is way simpler! Could you make it compatible for Mac?
