Hello Product Hunt Community! 👋

I'm Aditi Vanjani, the SEM Manager at Pixster Studio! We’re a team of passionate developers dedicated to creating innovative apps, and today we’re excited to share Browsly with you—an app designed for macOS that gives you total control over your browser choice for every link you click.

Our journey began when we realized the frustration of being tied to a default browser. No matter which browser you prefer, whether it's Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Brave, or Edge, we wanted to build something that would let you open any link in the browser that suits your needs in a quick and seamless manner.

Browsly Features Overview:

  • Flexibility: Open web pages in any browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Brave, Edge, and more!

  • Unique Floating Window: Access your browser options with ease through our floating window, allowing you to switch browsers without leaving your current page 🪟

  • User-Friendly Interface: Clean and simple design, making it easy for anyone to navigate and use without technical knowledge 💡.

  • Customizable Preferences: Set rules for automatic browser selection based on specific keywords 🔧

  • Efficient Browser Switching: Quickly toggle between browsers, boosting your productivity 📈

  • Total Browsing Privacy: Your data stays safe. We do not store any personal information in the cloud, and our Incognito toggle ensures full privacy 🔒

Why Choose Browsly? Whether you're working across multiple platforms, want to keep your work and personal browsing separate, or simply want a faster, more efficient browsing experience, Browsly is here for you. It's perfect for:

  • Multitaskers who need to juggle different browsers.

  • Privacy-conscious users who want full control over their browsing data.

  • Anyone looking for a smoother, more flexible browsing experience on macOS.

Benefits of Using Browsly:

  • Effortlessly manage and open links in the browser of your choice.

Downloading multiple browsers takes up much storage, and switching between them is really inconvenient. I like the idea, does it also work on phone devices?

Aditi Vanjani

@focusaur Many third-party websites don’t support multiple session storage for user logins. This means that if you want to switch between different accounts, you often have to log out and log back in.

In this scenario, having multiple browsers can be beneficial as it saves you from the hassle of constantly logging in and out. Many professionals also use different browsers because certain websites are optimized for or only work properly on specific browsers.

In such cases, having multiple browsers becomes a necessity. Our app offers a special feature called “Define Rule” that lets you assign specific websites to open in a designated browser automatically. For example, if you want Gmail to always open in Chrome, you can set a rule that says: “If the URL contains Gmail, always open it in Chrome.” This feature works for many sites like Figma, Spotify, Google Drive—you name it, we support it!
