🚀 Hey everyone! We’re excited to introduce boook to the PH community – an app that turns screen time into an amazing adventure for kids! 📚✨ boook makes reading fun and interactive by letting kids control the story and make choices that shape the plot. Imagine your little one deciding whether Puss in Boots should go fishing or pick potatoes – how cool is that? What makes boook special? For starters, it’s all about interactive stories where kids guide the adventure and make decisions that influence the storyline. It’s also a fantastic educational tool that boosts literacy, imagination, and cognitive skills while helping with language learning. Plus, it offers an immersive experience with stunning animations, cool visual effects, and great sound design – and no ads at all! We ensure everything is safe and approved by psychologists, so there’s no violence or stereotypes. boook is perfect for parents who want healthier digital activities for their kids. It is aimed at children who love exploring and learning through interactive stories. A bit about us – boook is a women-led project, created by parents for families. Our team is super passionate about making reading an exciting journey. To try our Fairy Tales, download our mobile app in the App Store/Google Play and choose free trial. We’d love to hear your thoughts! Your feedback helps us make boook even better. Join us in turning reading into an adventure! 🌟📖

Need of the hour for kids, does it also work with multiple languages? See huge potential in Asia
Ace
@pradhumn_vijayvargiya True! The time children use ipad is much more YoY in China. I have no child yet, but I see the child of my friends are always want to interact with smart phone or ipad after meals.
Hanna
@pradhumn_vijayvargiya @oldmann Adding multiple language options is actually in our near-term plans. We definitely see the potential here!

@goluzova thanks, may be in next launches we'll see that. it'll open up a Pandora box full of new use-cases and users

The challenge of education product is that: The user (kid) is not the same as the ones who pay (parents). If your product can nail the problem, success is closer. Your product has the potential.
Hanna
@hackerqed indeed! Balancing the needs of both kids and parents is at the heart of what we do. We focus on creating content that’s fun and engaging for children, while also offering the educational value and safety that parents prioritise.
Interesting, and love the fact that Boook is 'approved by psychologists', could you elaborate on this? Also @goluzova, you should add this fact in your headline or so. Even your app store screenshots/description bringing this up adds a trust factor.
Hanna
@akigugale thanks for pointing that out! what exactly would you like to learn about our work with psychologists? Happy to share :)
@goluzova how & what have they approved — the stories on the platform?
Hanna
@akigugale now I get it! sure. We worked closely with psychologists and other specialists to ensure that the stories are not only engaging but also appropriate for kids, considering factors like age-specific language, emotional impact, and the balance of challenge. The professionals' input helps us make sure that our content is both fun and educational, providing a safe experience for kids.
@goluzova that clarifies my query, I was curious & think this is necessary for a kid's product. Kudos on the launch! 🎉

In a world where screen time's already a big deal for kids, how do we balance fun and learning without going overboard, seems like this app gives an interactive twist to reading but what about ensuring kids stay grounded in real-world experiences too, might be worth adding a feature to encourage offline adventures after storytime
Hanna
@commexpert20 Yeah, I understand what you mean. But as child psychologists often say, in today’s world, gadgets are an unavoidable part of life. Our goal is not just to foster a love for reading, but also to encourage a love for the world around the kid. Teaching them how to be kind, helpful, and understanding 🙏 Our stories are designed to instill these values, helping children to not only enjoy screen time but also to connect with real-world experiences in meaningful ways 🥰
Kyrylo Silin
Hey Hanna, How complex do the stories and choices get? Do you have any plans to incorporate educational elements beyond literacy, like basic math or science concepts? Congrats on the launch!
Hanna
@kyrylosilin thanks so much, Kyrylo! Each story in our app offers varying levels of complexity with multiple plot paths and character choices. For example, in a story like Hansel and Gretel, the plot can unfold in up to five different endings! 😊 We’re also incorporating educational elements beyond literacy. In some stories, like The Ugly Duckling, we include intellectually stimulating mini-games, such as a collection of different bird species, to add an educational layer to the fun.
Germán Merlo
Loved it. Kids need that this kind of stories are interactive so you're making a huge change in their life. More than glad to see you on this and wish you all the best on this impressive launch!
Andy Hwang
This looks like a fun way to get kids reading! I love the interactive storytelling aspect. One thing that could make it even better is adding a feature for kids to create their own stories within the app. Also, it'd be cool to see some collaboration options, like letting friends read together remotely. Overall, great concept for making screen time more educational!
Hanna
@andyroamer Thanks for the ideas! Letting kids create their own stories and collaborate with friends remotely is something we definitely need to explore. Our goal is to keep enhancing the app to make screen time both educational and fun, so stay tuned for more features in the future :)
Ace
Great product! Have you tried selling to children through kindergartens? This could be a very good channel.
Hanna
@oldmann not yet, but this is a brilliant idea! Thanks so much for this!

boook sounds like a fantastic way to make reading a fun and interactive experience for kids! Letting them shape the story with their own choices is such a creative way to keep them engaged while boosting literacy and imagination. 📚✨ I love that it’s ad-free and designed with psychologists to ensure a safe environment. Has anyone tried it with their little ones yet? I’d love to hear how they reacted to choosing their own story adventures!
Michal Byers
This sounds like an amazing way to engage kids in reading! I'm curious about the types of mini-games included in the app. How do they enhance the interactive storytelling experience? Also, what age group are you targeting with boook? Looking forward to exploring it!
Hanna
@fine54 Thank you! Games are always crafted to support the storytelling first. We do not use match-3 or other popular mechanics, but some interactivity bits to support the story. Our goal is to keep a child engaged, but not transform a book into a toy. As for age groups, boook is tailored to grow with the child. We’ve worked closely with child psychologists to ensure that each story and game is appropriate for specific developmental stages.
AnnaHo
Boook is a wonderful platform that allows kids to shape their own stories while enhancing vocabulary and imagination! To enrich the experience, consider adding a parent dashboard that tracks learning progress and suggests personalized story recommendations based on the child’s interests.
Hanna
@annaho2000 We appreciate your feedback very much! A parent dashboard that tracks learning progress and offers personalised recommendations is a fantastic idea. Will definitely keep that in mind for further app development :)

The Boook has been an amazing experience for me and my son. The game design is brilliant – it’s not just reading; it’s fully interactive! My son gets to make choices that actually change the storyline, and the puzzles and activities woven into the tales keep him engaged the whole time. It feels like he’s part of the adventure! The artwork is stunning, and exploring these stories together has really brought us closer. It’s been a wonderful addition to our time together.
Hanna
@nick_terentjev it is pure happiness to read such comments!! We are aiming to develop and make the experience even cooler!
Zephyr Liu
Any suggestion on the proper ages for target users? wondering whether I could use it for my 2-year old kid.
Hanna
@zephyrliu we do have stories suitable for even the youngest users! For example, Nick the Cat is designed specifically with the most little ones in mind :)
Richard Song
boook looks amazing, @goluzova! Allowing kids to influence the storyline while learning is a fantastic concept. The ad-free experience is a huge plus for parents. Hanna
@renchu_song thank you, Richard, it's an amazing idea, we have to give it a thought!
Kiryl Ales
You have a great app, I’ve just tried it with my kid. Do you have any plans or ideas to make your mini-games more complicated? At the moment it looks too easy for the certain age of kinds
Hanna
@kiryl_ales Great question, Kiryl! Our stories include games with different levels of difficulty, so there’s something to challenge kids as they grow :)
Alex Bollati
This looks fantastic, @goluzova ! 📘✨ I'm curious, how do you ensure the content remains engaging while being educationally effective? Any plans to include stories from non-Western cultures to expand the diversity?
Hanna
@alexbollati thank you, Alex! and yes, absolutely. We’re always looking to expand our collection and would love to hear your suggestions for favourite stories. We already have a few in development!
