@blak3 Btw, I'm not sure, but I think I might have found a minor bug on your site.
when pressing any of the categories in the sections below of the main page, a carousel with "No item found" slides appears instead of the actual content

Cool, congrats on the launch! Just a random idea, but it would be cool if I could import my Goodreads list for both books and people I follow to inform my discovery recommendations.

@michaelrpierce, I second @blak3 's comment. It would be nice to be able to import my Goodreads and have tailored recommendations either based on the book topics or followed authors.
This site is legit a 1:1 copy of a project I built and sold a few years ago, goodbooks.io. You even scraped the same data and people. 🤡
@jordan__hughes Congrats on building and selling *goodbooks.io*, Jordan! That’s awesome. However, there are countless book recommendation websites with similar features and content, as most of it is public. I could name 10 sites that all share these elements. What sets BookSelects apart is the advanced filtering and ordering of recommendations based on people categories, which none of the other sites, including *goodbooks.io*, offer. Calling public content a copy seems more like an attempt to downplay a platform that aims to bring something new to the table.

Could you let me know if there’s a specific feature or part of the site that’s not working as expected? That’ll help me pinpoint the problem faster and get it fixed. Thanks again for flagging it!
@blak3: I cannot see the imgs in Safari. I am now in an old Mac macOS 10.15.7. It works well with Chrome, Firefox and Brave
