@vmharwani yeah, we wanted to simplify and personalize backup as it's a bit intimidating so we borrowed from the mobile experience by using on/off switch
When I attempt to run after installing, I get a "connecting to Bobby" message, but no connection. Am I missing something?
@chris_brandlon Perhaps the UI did not show up automatically post connection. Did you try clicking the tray icon?
Really interesting, I really hope this would help in better management and easy access for everyone.

@terencepua As a long-time former user of Insync, this is a great pivot to stay relevant in 2022. However, I don't quite understand why it needs permission to edit and delete documents on Google Drive when it seems like read access is all it needs?

@giri Google Drive for desktop is a syncing app and doesn't support local conversion of Google Docs for backup purposes

@dannyrichman we currently don't support versions but something we can consider in the future under a Pro plan
