Is it possible to make the luggage follow us hands free with current technology? Maybe by using sensors to give the wheels autonomous powers?
@ariehmovtady hey Arieh, it is possible but still very clunky. We will always look to bring new innovations to the travel market. At some point this will make sense.
Some other high-end luggage companies like Briggs and Riley offer Lifetime Warranties [1] on their bags - would you ever consider something like this for @Bluesmart? I feel like for such a large purchase a guarantee like that would make the buying decision easier.

@shep_ben @bluesmart thanks Ben. As we are just getting started we are offering a 2 year warranty, but I can give you my word that our support will be excellent for a lifetime. We are truly committed to being customer centric
I love the concept and the design. How long will I be able to track my bag on a full battery?
Very cool. How does it charge the battery? Also usb? I've thought for a while that a bag with a retractable charging cable could kill it for frequent travelers.
@andrewpflynn Thanks Andrew! You re-charge the battery with a mini-usb, it comes with a cable and charger
Aviation approved? At least in China the battery packs are rejected from being checked in.
@joyxyc Yichao, it's compliant with all international airline regulations. The fact that the battery is "installed" makes it approved, we communicate the details on a badge on the bottom. Users have traveled through China thousands of times already without any problem.
@guillermovs @joyxyc Guillermo, yes, is not removable which is what FAA requires. Again, there isn't a problem in China with Bluesmart set up
been wanting one of these for a while --- everytime I go to the airport, wish I had one --- looks great!
@samir_doshi I bought the original via the Kickstarter and I'm very happy with it. Looks great, is durable and reliable, the wheels are the best I've experienced on a suitcase, and I've only ever had one issue carrying it on.
@_yannbertrand Yann, we made a big upgrade of materials, finishings and internal design, also we introduced a new OS (software/firmware) that increase performance of the technology
@dsaezgil what does that mean for those of that bought the Kickstarter version? :/
@jake_langbecker Jake, we will send an OS update to all users! Our crowdfunding (Indiegogo) backers will always be the first to get discounts, promotions and upgrades
