Great idea, congrats ๐Ÿ‘. I would suggest choosing existing favicon from a url
Colin
@marko_velickovic That's a great suggestion, thanks!

@marko_velickovic I've included the option to upload a favicon via URL. Thanks again for the suggestion!

It would be nice if you could enter in the URL of a site and have it show the favicon automatically in each browser, etc. Instead of providing a URL to the actual favicon itself.

With the introduction of dark and light modes in some of the most popular and widely used web browsers, it's more important than ever that your favicons be as versatile as possible, regardless of the browser and mode. Favicon Checker was created as a simple tool for quickly viewing your favicon across all major web browsers, including their native light and dark modes. See how others are seeing your favicons.

Cool idea and very usefull! Though I miss Safari in dark mode ๐Ÿ–ค.

@alexkaessner Thanks! Is the Safari dark mode you're mentioning native to Safari, or is it an extension?
Alexander KรครŸner
@colinkeany No I mean the native dark mode that was introduced with macOS Mojave.

This is nice. Would be great to add Chrome incognito mode, Safari dark mode, and Edge light and dark modes too, though.
