Now that we remove the background from a photo for more than 50 million users, it only makes sense to regenerate a new, realistic one. Last summer, we stopped the company for a generative AI hackathon. As you all know, generative AI has moved faster than any company since then. PhotoRoom was lucky to be at the right place and at the right moment. We contributed to the stable diffusion repo to make it 100% faster to give back to the community. Hey there! I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I think your update for removing backgrounds and adding new ones is really cool! It's such a useful tool for anyone who needs to edit images quickly and easily — with a nice touch on handling reflections etc. I was wondering if there's a way for customers to modify the background itself, or if that's something you're considering for future updates? I'm thinking about how this could fit in with some kind of 3D experience, where customers could place objects in a certain environment or scene. Another question I had was about how e-commerce sites could dynamically update various backgrounds or allow users to input the backgrounds they want added, including using stable diffusion. Have you considered integrating your software with e-commerce platforms to help streamline this process? As the market for image editing tools continues to expand, how do you view differentiation among editing tools spanning different use cases and content types? What's your focus in terms of making sure your software remains competitive and useful for users? THanks!

A no brainer to crop images and get a realistic and coherent wallpaper for all my products. The app is so easy to use! The experience is so good that it deserves to be used every day.

I love all of the app but especially Instant Backgrounds. I can take a photo of my car and instantly teleport it to Paris, New York, Berlin almost literally anywhere. Would I like it to be surrounded by golden lights or fabric or even some weird coloured water? This app can do that. Do I want a selfie with the Eiffel tower in the background? It can do that. Want to take a photo of the flowers you bought mum for Mothers Day but don't want people to know you secretly watch Bluey on Disney+ when everyone is out? That can be changed with this. No one needs to know! Instant backgrounds is such a game changer with literally any photo and I have never found another app like it in terms of what it does.
