Betafi is here to upgrade your Google Meet calls: Capture key highlights with one click, transcribe in 30 languages, bring notes/clips to Miro/FigJam, spot recurring trends
Thanks @rohanrecommends for hunting us!
@sherbondy and I are excited to launch Betafi’s Google Meet integration today.
Our goal has always been to bring user feedback into the heart of the product development process, for there to be a magical way to share cool insights that you pick up from customer conversations with the larger product team.
Since our last launch, we realised that in order to achieve this, we have to work better with the tools that our user’s are familiar with. We really want users to capture insightful feedback on the video conferencing tool of choice and today we are excited to bring the Betafi Magic inside Google Meet.
There is a charm to using Google Meet, with one of the easiest scheduling workflows out there, and Betafi being an ever present to mark down the most important moments just made too much sense. Also, this was one of the most requested features, and some of the folks who we gave early access to have already ‘Betafied’ over 100 Google meetings.
Bringing customer’s voice into product building also involved making it easier to share insights out of Betafi. Over the last 6 months, we have made the Miro integration 10x better + added a FigJam integration, so that it is easier to collaborate with the larger product team.
We wanted to build a truly global product and this includes supporting users who do not hold their meetings in English. We have added Transcription in 30+ languages, including ‘Hinglish’ along with translation so you have authentic user conversations.
We are just getting started. There are so many more integrations to add, features to build and, workflows to improve, but we are grateful to our early users for all their feedback in getting us here.
We cannot wait for you all to Betafi your Google Meetings and share feedback!
Thanks again @rohanrecommends, appreciate your legendary hunting skills.
Hey folks, we’re back again! @arjunarora108 and I continue to be humbled by the community’s response to Betafi.
Since our first launch at the end of September 2022, we’ve been hard at work preparing the next stage of integrations and new capabilities to further broaden the appeal of Betafi while staying true to our north star of embedding voice of customer product feedback into the development process.
We’re really thrilled to get to announce our Google Meet integration today. 😻🤝🐤
The Betafi Bird has gained a few new superpowers since its last unveil. Betafi can now help to supercharge your Google Meet feedback calls with automatic cloud recording, transcription, timestamped notes, auto-summarization, clipping, and much much more.
We’ve been dogfooding our new Google Meet integration a ton over the past few months leading up to this launch, and it’s proved to be a helpful companion beyond just customer feedback scenarios. We’ve been having a blast using it alongside some early pilot customers for everything from internal team meetings, to design review sessions, and even to prepare for interviews and VC pitches 😅.
If you are new to Betafi: we offer a toolkit for remote video calls to capture, make sense of, and share voice-of-customer insights with your team.
Today’s Google Meet launch is just the tip of the iceberg.
We have a ton of fun new capabilities in the works that we’ll be launching over the coming months to further amplify and accelerate your product feedback loops. Stay tuned. 😉
Everything you see today is thanks to the continuous feedback from this amazing community and our growing cohort of Betafi customers who have helped to propel us forward and co-create the product with us every step of the way.
Special shoutout to @thasophearak from our engineering team for spearheading this effort, and the outsized efforts from the whole Betafi crew!
Firstly, hats off to the team for integrating Betafi with Google Meet! 🎉 As someone who relies heavily on Google's ecosystem, this is a welcome addition.
The feature set you've introduced is genuinely intriguing – from capturing key moments to multi-language transcription and the integration with Miro and FigJam. This will surely streamline the feedback process.
Are you considering adding support for any other video conferencing platforms in the future? Like Zoom or Microsoft Teams?
Congrats on the launch! 🚀
Hey @vera_mur, thank a lots for your kind word!
We already had Zoom support, and Microsoft Teams is on our roadmap.
We're excited for you to give Google Meet a try. Let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
Happy testing, cheers 🎉
Yup @rawoyemi@dextersjab super easy to recall 'aha' moments of your meetings. Do take our extension for a spin and share your feedback.
Thanks for your support!
This is an awesome product. The product research team will get a lot out of it. The MIRO integration looks very helpful.
Betafi will be very useful for UI/UX teams.
Hey @manab_boruah, thanks a lot for your kind words!
We'd love to hear your feedback and any suggestions you might have. Have fun exploring!
Thanks again and hope you enjoy using Betafi
I've seen multiple interview recording & feedback based tools, and generally the issue is bringing structure to chaos. The thing that stood out for me with Betafi was the Miro, Figma & Notion integrations. I can totally envision 50 conversations giving website feedback, or product/prototype feedback, and getting collated in a structured fashion, would save time for sure. Also, the pricing felt on point - $20 for 10hrs (more like 20 conversations), so spending $1/conversation is a super good deal I think! Gonna try this out for sure!
@sherbondy & team, congrats on the launch!
@neilroy91 thanks Neil! Really excited for you to try it out, and can't wait to hear your detailed feedback as you use the product. We're all in on this integrations-based approach. We love the magic of getting to export directly to FigJam/Miro and dive into synthesis with a single click.
Lots of exciting things in the works on this front to take this experience to the next level.
@amanda_zhu thanks so much for Amanda for all of the support. It means the world to us, excited about working together to get this out the door, and can't wait for the next stage of our video integrations offering.
Thanks @amanda_zhu for all the love and support! Yeah, we want to make the whole product feedback process smooth and stress-free. Our Google Meet integration is a step in that direction so no one ever misses out on capturing cool insights of their user conversations. We have big plans to keep improving our integration stack and product experience.
@nuno_ms_reis Thank you! Yes, it enhances the user interview experience with timestamped notes, interview script, post-call clipping, automatic transcription, and much more.
Can't wait to hear your valuable feedback.
Hey @nuno_ms_reis
Real time transcription is available in Google Meet natively, and we are working on making it available in the Betafi hosted sessions as we speak!
@nuno_ms_reis Yes we do plan to support real time transcriptions during the call, will surely update you once we do and yes, transcripts are provided post meeting currently supporting 30+ languages.
Thank you, @vishal_godhwani, for your support and being an early adopter of Betafi! We're excited for you to try our Google Meet integration and eagerly await your valuable feedback.
@guravus Yep it's a pretty smooth workflow. You can also export your notes auto-grouped by questions or tags to Miro / FigJam so you can straight categorize them into themes. Do try it out and share your thoughts. Thanks for your support!
Niiiiice... I wonder what API you are using to transcribe and summarize? Assembly? Nahhh, still curious.
Anyway. Great product! I'm going to use this on my next meeting.
@will_works Excited for you to try it out, and hear your feedback.
Also, we're using a variety of ML models and API services for different aspects of Betafi, including OpenAI's GPT family of models, Cohere, as well as a number of different transcription providers depending on the language selected.
@rahulasthana Definitely will let you know after I try it!
And thanks for the answer (wasn't expecting you to tell me, ha). I was curious because I just went down the rabbit hole of voice transcription APIs.
Congrats on the launch team! Super interesting concept - excited to try it out! Hopefully will reduce the time I spent analyzing interviews!
Rooting for you!
@uncoverux Thanks a lot for giving our this a try! We’ve put a lot of effort into making it as user-friendly and efficient as possible. We’d love to hear your thoughts and any suggestions you might have. Happy testing!
It's a game-changer for anyone who, like me, spends a good chunk of their day in meetings.
First things first, it's super easy to get started with, and it's beginner-friendly.
Being a Beta tester, What I loved most about Betafi is that it lets me capture key points from any meeting with just one click. Gone are the days of scrambling to take notes while trying to stay engaged in the conversation. It's like having my own personal assistant keeping track of everything important. 📝👍
Plus, it can transcribe in 30 languages, which is super handy when we're working with international teams. No more lost in translation moments. 🌍
What's even cooler? It lets you bring those notes and clips directly to Miro or FigJam. It's been a lifesaver for our brainstorming sessions, and I bet it will be for yours, too.
@antivirusakash thanks so much for your support Akash! Your continued feedback means the world to us, and we can't wait to continue to iterate on our Google Meet integration and end-to-end experience to make it even slicker based on all of your suggestions!
Congratulations on the launch 🚀
This looks like a game-changer for people like me who spends a good amount of time in meetings every day. Going to try it out immediately.
Congrats Rohan & Betafi team on your launch!
You guys have hunted & made a really powerfull tool to help enhance the Google Meet experience. I love the auto Notes to Figjam.
Collected & supported, good luck!
This is an amazing development and would really help a lot of teams. Betafi are one of those few innovative tools that were really well thought out and feature-rich. Highly recomended indeed. Congratulations team!
Then you mean I don't have to look down to take notes while I'm also trying to identify which features captures the users' attention during the product demo, that's GREAT!
As someone who is involved in demos, I think this product can add a lot of value to gather real feedback and help us improve the early stage product. Congrats on the launch!
Hey @nithincp, thanks a lot of your kind words!
We really appreciate your enthusiasm for our integration with Google Meet! Your support means a lot to us, and we're excited to see how it can help improve your experience with Betafi. Let us know how it goes!
Cheers!
@suyash_chaudhari Yes, that is right. We do support Hinglish for our automatic transcription post call.
Eagerly looking forward for you to test it, and hear back your experience.
@suyash_chaudhari Yep! We're starting to surface some common presets for multi-lingual transcription. "Hinglish" is the first of these, but we'll likely be opening up this capability more broadly as we continue to improve our transcription offering.
Thank you @ifranchini for the support.
We already have a Zoom integration, and we are available on Zoom app marketplace as well.
Microsoft Teams is definitely on the roadmap.
Looking forward to your feedback.
