Hello Product Hunters! If you like to take photos, today is a Big day for you. We have launched the new version of Aurora HDR - our best-selling HDR photo editor. It is finally available for MAC and PC. The whole idea behind Aurora HDR is to simplify your life and help you create world class HDR images in no time. So you have the tools, the speed and the comfort to let your creativity truly blossom. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a pro photographer or a hobbyist - in Aurora HDR there’s something for every style and preference. Even for amateurs who never go beyond Jpegs. I’m a long time fan of HDR images myself and love what our users have been doing with Aurora HDR in the past. Your images are incredible and I look forward to seeing more. The current version of Aurora HDR 2018 is much more advanced and powerful than anything we’ve done before. Our small team was literally working days and nights to bring it to life. Here are just some of the highlights: - New Tone Mapping technology that will give you awesome HDR look automatically - New tools and presets tailored for natural HDR look - New adjustment tools, including the “HDR Enhancer” powered by the Artificial Intelligence - Lens Correction - Presets from Trey Ratcliff and other pros for 1-click results (from natural to extreme) - At least 50% speed improvements - Dramatically improved Raw processor - And a lot more This is our biggest and best Aurora HDR release ever. You can try it for free at: https://aurorahdr.com. I look forward to hearing your feedback. This is Exciting. Alex

Hi everyone! We had a blast making this and the MacPhun team did an amazing job! I was just the guy that would break it in testing with my images... and then they fixed everything up, made it more robust and feature-filled than ever. I love it... probably used it to make over 100 final images so far, including all my new Burning Man stuff. My favorite slider is the HDR Enhance slider... almost like an AI-photo kinda slider! I have a bunch of presets that ship WITH the product too that you might enjoy. Presets are always a great place to start. They're very powerful. Also, notice there is a 100% slider ON the preset. If it's too strong for you, just dial it back a bit! :)

I have been using this product as an early tester and reviewer, and it has exceeded my (rather lofty) expectations. It gives me incredible control over my photos, the new features such as Lens Correction and Transform are really useful, and the filters give me the ability to add my look to a shot. Highly recommended!

Pros:

Amazing app for HDR and single exposures. Gain control over your photos, adjust verticals, denoise, apply multiple filters and more!

Cons:

None

Is it any good if I use it with simple shots? I don't shoot brackets.
Maria Gordienko
@kratuxo1 of course, Marcel. It works perfectly with single shots. The new tone mapping algorithm works with an image during opening and you will see instant results right from the start. No need to work with brackets only
