@joshkmartinez you might be jumping the gun on your dislike of Sourcetree. “we have strong evidence that the compromised accounts have account passwords being stored in plaintext on a deployment of a related repository.” If someone stores their login info in plaintext on the web, in their repository, that is on them and not the tool. Could have happened with any tool. I use sourcetree every day and it is great. It makes complicated Git operations so much easier and makes fixing conflicts a somewhat breeze.

sharing this here as sourcetree has come a long way from when i first used it and thought other folks could appreciate it a bit more now :)
