I feel obligated to chime in here and let you know that you chose a damned good name for your product but it's causing problems for me in the search engines. :P
@a12rj This camera is connected to the Internet via LTE. You can access live video directly from your phone or tablet from anywhere. Every time the camera detects motion or audio (user selectable), it records directly to the cloud. Our cameras include free cloud storage. Every video the camera captures stays in the cloud for 7 days and you can download and save the files for long term storage. This camera also has a Micro SD card slot built in.
So each camera deployed requires its own SIM card to refer content back to cloud? Just trying to figure the total deployment costs on multiple construction sites vs static costs of using cuddeback/existing solution Thank you
@a12rj Yes, each camera has its own sim but they can all be added to the same shared data/family plans via AT&T. If you already have a number of lines with AT&T it's just a matter of adding a your additional devices to share the data. Otherwise you can create a new shared data account with AT&T for your Arlo Go cameras.
The latest release from the Arlo lineup, the Arlo Go. A completely wire-free connected (3G/4G LTE) HD security solution for your smart home or smart business.
Night Vision, video backup, advanced motion detection + free cloud storage!
A perfect holiday gift for the techie in your life! *hint hint* 😂
@jsdeckard With the typical use of testers thus far, people tend to consume 800MB to 1GB of a data per month per camera. The camera will initially be launched with an AT&T SIM card and you can either buy a tablet style data plan or add it to your family plan. Visit AT&T's site for latest plan pricing.
