Tim Cook has already stated that Apple's greatest contribution to humanity will be in the health space, and it looks like this is a step in that direction.

@michail_katsikas I guess the satisfaction of knowing that your voluntary data can be used to help advance the field of medicine and save lives in the future, but who cares about that amiright??
