Thanks, Eric, for hunting us!
Hello Product Hunters,
I’m Anatoly, CEO & Co-founder at AppFollow, along with @tahorg and @fxzuz.
It’s time to introduce you to our newest version of AppFollow: 2.0.
Since the first launch AppFollow has been significantly improved and enhanced with new features. These are the most important improvements we’ve made:
- Integrations with Slack, HipChat, Zendesk, Trello and email — all information about app changes can be delivered directly to these channels;
- Reply to Google Play reviews — allows replying to user reviews directly from AppFollow;
- Automatic review translation — no matter what language user speaks, integration with Google Translate erased all barriers;
- Featuring notifications — Slack notifications when apps get featured in App Store;
- Significantly optimized tools for tracking reviews, keywords, ranks, and more;
- API — it’s possible to create customised dashboards, reports and select app data for monitoring;
- Windows Store Support — initially the tool was tracking only App Store and Google Play.
We want to thank our users for being active and responsive. Their feedback and requests were at the core of all these changes.
If you are interested in the whole timeline of AppFollow changes, you’re welcome to our blog https://blog.appfollow.io/appfol...
It’d be great to hear back from you. Share with us what you like about the updated service and what still needs to be improved.
Thanks for checking us out!
@sharifulin yeah I only see
- Web-site re-launch based on users feedback: full service description, F.A.Q., team bio, pricing, etc.
- New pricing: simplified and highly customisable
@bentossell not exactly, it's final changes before release. Last launch was in March 2016, it was version 1.10.
After that we improved a lot of stuff and released new features like custom tags for reviews, multi-user support, keyword ranking chart, add supporting windows store, compare tool, integration with Google Play console via OAuth client, bulk settings for integrations, featuring monitor for Slack, and so on.
@bentossell@sharifulin Since March we added lots of new things actually:
- we significantly updated all existing integrations including Slack
- we added Zendesk
- we added Windows Store
- we added support for GP Dev Console OAuth (e.g., you can now reply directly from dashboard)
- we upgraded our API
- and tons of smaller changes and improvements
@rirus Konstantin, thanks for your support. If I'm not mistaken, you can filter reviews by app versions in your personal account with Filter by version
Perfect tool, I have all-in-one: keyword monitoring in my Slack, competitors tracking via graphs and weekly e-mails (I know everything about competitors: their rankings, reviews, updates). With the latest updates (Google Play integration, for example) I get android reviews in the same time they posted and can reply to the user and solve his problem. Highly recommended tool.
Real time monitoring for reviews, ranks, keywords, updates in App Store, Google Play & Windows Store. Powerful integrations with Slack, HipChat, Trello, Zendesk and email.
@nyushechka_z@sharifulin Anna, thanks for being with us and supporting us for so long (almost a year, right?). We do have plans on adding additional data like downloads and revenue estimates, first of all for your own apps. Afterwards, if we manage, we'll try to do estimates for all other apps as well.
@tahorg@sharifulin thank you, I think if you manage to do this stuff then Appfollow would be totatlly perfect service for tracking reviews and competitors! Good luck.
These guys are really great and very fast. We've been using them for almost a year. You just ask them to add a new feature and they implement it within days. Make your wishes come true with this efficient and very client-oriented team.
I took a part in customer development made by the guys 2 years ago and has been a loyal user since then. It's amazing how much they archived during this time. From a pure idea to one of the leading mobile marketing service out there
And what's really important it's how they react to community requests -- listening to, clever implementation, but no blind following
@paul_shuteyev Paul, hi. If you wish to stay on Free plan, it's only 2 apps, if you need more, we'll ask you to switch to Premium. And there you can choose yourself how many apps you need to track.
Hey guys, congrats on the featuring. Any plans for calculating how much traffic apps get per keyword? This would be super informative for developers like me.
@anatoly_marin Anatoly, thanks for your support! We do plan continuous upgrades to all of our tools. So, we will do our best to add this feature as well.
Looks good guys, I think adding "mobile intelligence" component would be awesome, or "app analytics", by tracking #of ratings for companies one can estimate market share year by year, month to month. Also, some apps are very old and if one wants to know their overall ranking it take time to go all the way back to 2010, I wish the date box was 'type in' date too. Hope this helps.
