Imagine I run a SaaS platform, what problem exactly does this solve? Can you explain like I'm 5? :)

@rutgerbevers oh, good point! πŸ˜‰ Vault provides you with the lego blocks to let your customers connect the tools they already use without needing to build any additional infrastructure. It simplifies how to connect to a specific API without needing to know how the internals work, e.g., handling callback and authorize flows on HubSpot. After this, you can start querying Ticketing or CRM data depending on which platform the customer is connected to.

Hi Product Hunt, We’re excited to share the Apideck Vault with you today! When you're looking to connect to an API, the first step is authentication. Vault helps you handle OAuth flows, store API keys, and refresh access tokens from users (called consumers in Apideck). We built Vault so developers can easily let their customers manage their integrations, link accounts, and view a logs history without writing any code. Apideck Vault includes: - An Open-source sample https://github.com/apideck-sampl... - 50+ OAuth and API-key based connectors - Integrated with Shopify, Salesforce, Slack, Salesflare, Typeform, and many more. - An assistant that recommends integrations based on your tech stack - Integration analytics - Developer-friendly plan of 20,000 free API calls per month We'd love to hear your thoughts on the product!

Damm hot release!! Pretty sick launching with integrations for Shopify, Salesforce, Slack, Salesflare, Typeform, ..πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ but also having a right-hand assistant that recommends integrations based on your tech stack. πŸ‘

I'm a big supporter, since setting up authentication for integrations, usually means storing the sensitive credentials in a place that is difficult to manage securely and complex to track once you have multiple integrations. The next challenge is to implement each and every specific authentication flow (like Oauth) for each integration, which takes time and plenty of maintenance. Monitoring all the integrations is the next complexity, since they all have specific errors and difficult to keep an overview on. Through the Vault I can: - manage the integration connections, through a web interface - let Apideck handle the complexity of the authentication flows for each integration (with pretty much all my needed integrations available out of the box) - leverage the debugging & monitoring of the integrations, simple and straightforward since the Vault handles it all, without me requiring to setup & pay for additional logging tools. I really like the product, since Apideck Vault solves all these features for me PLUS it is a very visual tool that makes it seem so easy & time efficient, given the complexity of setting it up integrations.
