Another Dock gives your Mac a second dock – elegant, efficient, and native. Quickly access your most-used apps, folders, and files with ease.
🎁 One-time purchase, free until July 6 — no subscriptions, just yours to keep.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I built Another Dock because I was tired of how limited the macOS Dock is. You can’t pin files or folders, and it vanishes the moment an app goes fullscreen — which really slows things down when you’re deep in work.
Another Dock gives you a second, customizable dock that stays visible and lets you pin anything — apps, folders, files — whatever you use most. Just drag to add, click to launch, and reorder however you like. It blends right in with macOS, supports light/dark mode, and has a minimal native look that doesn’t get in your way.
What makes this launch special is how seamless it feels. I wanted it to be invisible in all the right ways — not something flashy or bloated, just something that quietly boosts your workflow every day.
This is a one-time purchase app, with no subscriptions, and to celebrate the launch it’s completely free until July 6th. Grab it while it’s free, and let me know what you think!
Suggestion for a multi-monitor setup: it would be nice to be able to select which monitors Another Dock should appear. Now it only shows on the far right of the display at the right?
@erikwillemse Sorry for the late reply, not sure why Product Hunt didn’t notify me.
Does the issue with the icon still happen after restarting Another Dock? Also, may I ask which macOS version you're using? I’d love to look into it further.
Would be amazing if I could move it as well, as I'd rather have it on my left side of the screen. Or even floating somewhere like a widget. I'ld like to be able to make more than one as well

After the update, you can now freely move it to any position on the scree. If "Autohide" is not checked, it will float over other windows and you can hide or show it by keyboard shortcut.

I've been using Another Dock for a week, and it's surprisingly handy. Having a second dock means I can keep work apps on one and personal tools on the other, which really streamlines my workflow. The native look blends in perfectly with macOS, so it doesn’t feel out of place at all. If you juggle multiple projects or switch between tasks often, this is a practical upgrade. Designers or multitaskers will definitely appreciate how much time it saves hunting for files and apps. Plus, the one-time purchase makes it even better!

@ahrisy hey! Fyi, macOS 26 (aka 16) is getting a dock with all those features you mentioned. But i have a feeling it’s still missing some stuff :D.

@erikwillemse Hi, I have released a new version. Now you can move the dock anywhere freely. Thanks again for your suggestion!
@ahrisy Great addition. I can now place it anywhere. But the icon takes a lot of space?

"One-time purchase, free until July 6 — no subscriptions, just yours to keep." - a bit misleading as it's July 6 now and it's not free?
