Half a year and one pivot later, we are back on Product Hunt with whole new Angle Audio. We started out as a social audio platform for everybody and now we have built SaaaS (Social audio as a service), the easiest way to integrate the most delightful live audio experiences into apps and websites.
Backstory: The story of Angle starts in Tokyo, back in 2016, where I was longing for a way to easily connect and talk to experienced physicists during my research in quantum information theory. After another similar experience a bit later on, I was wondering, there must be an easier way to connect the curious with the wizards, right? So in early 2020 @valerius_huonder, @matthias_karg and I started working on Angle Audio and launched our beta here, then we rebranded and changed the app completely and launched here again and now weโre back with social audio as a service, aimed at businesses.

I was one of the early adopters of Clubhouse and also regularly host Telegram audio rooms.. The possibility to embed audio rooms into an app or website is just amazing! Do you think your product could help us provide better user support? I am talking about our product, www.cashflowportal.com
@alexandra_kazakova2 Cool! You could use our audio rooms for 1:1 user support or also for group webinars. We also offer screen sharing, so you could do webinars with experts and let people ask questions. The cool thing about audio is that people can also just walk outside and leave the phone in their pocked and don't have to worry about the turned on camera.
Matthias and his team are amazing! I truly enjoy using Angle! If you are not using angle yet, try it and you will love it!

Highly recommend this as an added feature for Businesses that want to connect more deeply with their customers. We don't want to give our phone numbers to a business but we DO still want to talk to a person. Angle - it seems like with where they are headed - can help solve that problem? I love to see it. I truly enjoyed the app as a version of social audio and the sound quality was dynamite.

@paul_brockell Great idea! When we were running our consumer focused social audio app, some people used it to stream concerts. Definitely something we could optimize the product for now with our new b2b focus. Thanks! ๐
Just tried it out on my own website, and I have to say I was amazed how easy it was to integrate. It literally took me 2 minutes and I had an audio room on my blog, very cool and worked like a charm! I invited my wife in the room and we had a little chat. ON MY BLOG! ๐
Is there also a REST API for this, e.g. to open and close a room? That would be really helpful for the use-case I have in mind.

Great work! I remember a few months ago jumping in a room and talking with the Angle team about this exact use case of embedding a voice room on a webpage. I'm really happy it has been implemented! Congrats and good luck!

It's a great product with a good thought-through UI design and an amazing passionate team behind it. They think of users needs first which is key for a successful product!
