Hey Product Hunt, I’m Arsen, Co-founder of The Personal AI Company!

We’re excited to launch AI Knowledge Search - a unified search engine that brings all your fragmented knowledge into one place.

Why did we build this?
We were tired of wasting time digging through multiple Gmail inboxes, Google Docs, Drive folders, Obsidian notes, and meeting transcripts just to find one piece of information. The frustration of fragmented knowledge was killing productivity.

What does Amurex Search do?
It connects across your platforms and lets you search once - instantly retrieving relevant results from all your connected tools. Whether it’s an email, a document, or a note, Amurex surfaces it for you, organized by context.
No more "where's that draft final final (2)?"

What makes it special?
- Unified, cross-platform search
- Context-aware results that actually make sense
- Open-source

I can see that Google is reviewing the app, so I cannot connect the email at the moment.

Anyway, I love the idea and bookmarked it. :)

Bonus points for email categorisation, smooth onboarding process and pretty UI! :)

Sanskar Jethi

@busmark_w_nika still early days :D We'll have all the approvals very soon!

Arsen K

@busmark_w_nika Thanks a lot! Really glad you liked the onboarding and UI!

For the Google issue - you can actually click “Advanced” on the Google warning screen to proceed anyway while it's under review. Let me know if you run into anything!

I always check the privacy and security system whenever I see the products that mannage private data.

Honestly, I've never integrated my Gmail to any email client on PH,

cause I don't trust the startup team to protect my data securely, and have no idea how my data are being secured.

But I can trust open source projects that shows everything, like you.

Thanks for your effort :)

Arsen K

@pritraveler Totally fair - that’s exactly why we are making this open source. Thanks for the trust and support!

Sanskar Jethi

@pritraveler Open source is the only way!

Mike Staub

@pritraveler Even if the code is open source, if the app uses cloud-hosted models like OpenAI you are giving full access to all your data to the model providers. I think the ultimate solution is to run the LLM on your laptop and have it fetch data dynamically to answer questions.

Sanskar Jethi

@pritraveler  @mikestaub you can self host amurex too :D

Yong Woo Shin

@mikestaub That's true. However, most startups merely claim to offer protection in writing, but in reality, they often lack proper security policies. While I don’t fully trust OpenAI’s claim that our data isn’t used for training, I still consider it preferable to introducing yet another potential security risk.

Congrats on the launch, Arsen! 🔥

Amurex Search hits a real pain point — fragmented knowledge is a daily drain for anyone juggling multiple tools. The ability to query across Gmail, Docs, notes, and transcripts in one go is a massive win for focus and time savings.

Some highlights that stand out:

• Context-aware results are key — not just finding a file, but understanding why it’s relevant.

• Open-source makes this extra appealing for devs and privacy-conscious users.

• Feels like a productivity unlock for both individuals and teams.

Would love to know: Are you planning integrations beyond Google + Obsidian, like Notion, Slack, or even local folders?

Killer direction. Can totally see this becoming the default command center for knowledge workers. 🚀

Arsen K

Thanks so much @williamrobertscott! We already support Google, Notion, and Obsidian. Local files, Slack, Jira, and many more integrations are definitely on our radar - excited to keep expanding. Appreciate the support!

Jason Chernofsky

love this, real problem here

Arsen K

@jason_chernofsky Thanks! Means a lot - we're building exactly for that

Could we review your project documentation and explore community discussions? Specifically, I want to check for any issues or pull requests related to security vulnerabilities or improvements.

Jean Willame

Interesting tool, congrats on the launch team @Amurex , btw do you have any roadmap with others implementation ? Do you aim to integrate Slack in example ? :)

Harsh Dubey

Big congrats on the launch, @arsenfounder, @sanskar_jethi1, and team! 🚀

The frustration of fragmented knowledge is real, and @Amurex Search looks like a thoughtfully built solution to unify that chaos. Cross-platform, context-aware, and open-source? That’s a compelling combo.

That said, I wanted to surface a few key areas I think are worth considering:

🔐 Data Security & Privacy – Since the product integrates LLMs like OpenAI and Mistral, it raises questions around how personal or sensitive data is handled. When users connect tools like Gmail or Drive, it’s important to know:

Where is the data stored?

Is it ever used to fine-tune models?

Is inference happening locally, or are queries passed through third-party APIs?

This level of transparency can make or break user trust, especially in professional contexts.

🔗 Data Integration Challenges – As you likely know, major platforms (like Google, Notion, or Apple’s ecosystem) aren’t always the most integration-friendly, especially for open-source tools. Without native support or reliable APIs, real-world implementation could face hurdles, and users might end up with partial visibility instead of true unification.

📚 Context Relevance & Accuracy – Context-aware results are a killer feature, but the accuracy of context interpretation is critical. False positives can be worse than no result at all. Would love to know how Amurex prioritizes or ranks results when context is ambiguous.

All in all, this is a much-needed space to innovate in — and I’m excited to see where you take it from here.

Congrats again on the launch! 👏
