Reminds me a lot of what @blader's Heyday does so beautifully on iOS, but with a bent toward social sharing as opposed to personal memories.
It's live on G+, supposed to launch this week on Android, iOS "coming soon".
Heyday does the recording of the story well, but IMHO doesn't do a great job of telling it back, not to mention telling a story that spans multiple days. The interface, since it is mobile, is too constrained. (Don't get me wrong, I love and use it.)
Stories feels pretty good, and if Auto Awesome does a good job, it should be the next generation livingroom slide show. :)
