A couple of years ago, my cofounders and I launched Amplemarket 1.0, a tool we developed to help sales teams close deals faster. We worked really closely with our initial set of customers in order to understand what it takes to excel at B2B sales in today's environment.
We've learned that a lot of the sales approaches of the past stopped working (like spray and pray) and teams were facing hard challenges that they've never faced before like email deliverability problems.The most successful teams were the ones that had the best understanding/data on their prospects, were leveraging multiple channels of communication and were able to iterate fast.

Email warm-up is pretty interesting. I had a colleague email me about deliverability issues just last week. Can you guys tell me a bit more about it?
1. Do normal email marketing tools do this? (I'm thinking Mailchimp/Intercom/Hubspot)
2. What is the value of email warm up?
3. How does it actually work?

- Some email marketing tools do this by default but don't give you insights into what's happening. For example, a unique way Mailchimp can handle deliverability is by giving you a dedicated IP to send from and then warming up that IP gradually over time. With Intercom, you can warm up a domain manually by setting up SPF, DMARC, and DKIM records, then manually warming up your domain. Finally, there are third-party tools focused on warming up your emails. We decided this function is so critical for sales that it warrants being a vital feature within Amplemarket.
- The goal of warming up your email is to 1. Increase your sender reputation 2. Increase your send limit, so more of your emails get to your prospect's inbox and get read. If you're a sales leader, SDR, or AE, you're probably taking a very calculated and customized approach to outreach which takes time. It would be terrible if your emails were going to spam, so we want to avoid that with the email warm-up function.
- We do this by leveraging our AI to positively interact with a subset of your emails, by replying, marking them as important, etc. This helps increase your sender reputation, which helps your emails avoid hitting spam, increasing the likelihood of the email getting a response.

Amplemarket 2.0 is an app I wish existed before! To find the right contacts and close deals has always been a gray area for me. This app definitely solves that, love the feature of warm-up mailboxes and Linkedin automation.
