So excited to see this launch, congrats @muellaire and Amie team!
I’ve been following Amie for the past 2 years, and it’s always struck me how much of a joyful experience that Amie appeared to bring into a productivity app.
Also congrats on one of the best websites and launch videos I’ve seen in a long time 🤩
Congrats on the launch @muellaire! I've actually been seeing you all over Twitter and loved the design so signed up for the demo early on! Can't wait to see it in action.
I currently use SavvyCal and Fantastical 3.0 - any insight on how Amie compares?
Cheers!
@gabe thanks gabe, LOVE genies too :)
first and foremost, we have huge respect for all teams+products in the space. and savvycal + fantastical are two of the greats.
savvycal is definitely richer in features regarding slot booking. what we have though is a feature to allow you to share specific slots. so eg. only allow them to book tuesday 2-4pm and wednesday 3-5pm. creating this link in Amie takes <7s. :)
and fantastical: i think we've integrated everything seamlessly into one product which they have across 2 products (with cardhop). we have a web version. i think fantastical only supports iCloud right? we're built with a gcal integration (making it more suitable for companies+teams).
overall we've built Amie a lot around your colleagues. people play the most important role in your life. and your calendar should reflect that.
on the other hand fantastical is obv super rich in features and well done :)
@muellaire beautiful answer - stoked for this now!
Thank you for taking the time to break it all down and really appreciate your positive approach to highlighting the differences and features. Making me loyal to Amie already, can’t wait!
I must say firstly: Long live Todos! :D Seems to me this will be my fav feature! :D Amie indeed makes organizational process much enjoyable! ^_^ Congratulations on the launch! ^_^ Is it possible to set up custom notifications (eg. does Amie provides snoozing option and it's settings)? :))
👋🏽 Hey PH community :)
Meet amie.so. The team has worked SUPER hard to get the product into beta.
We still have a waitlist, BUT: The first 200 get onboarded today and in the next few days. And everyone else that signs up via Product Hunt today gets onboarded before everyone else.
We owe this community a lot, and want to give back a lil bit. :)
A few of our favorite features are:
* Calendar: you can join call with 1 click, multi-select todos, really quickly re-create meetings,...
* Todos: Have a backlog of todos and schedule them via drag+drop :)
* Share link: Share a booking link (à la Calendly) or specific slots with people. Right from your calendar
* Personal CRM: each of your contacts has their own page with reminders, a birthday feature, and quick notes
And my personal highlight
* See your Spotify sessions in your calendar
Long story short: check out amie.so, sign-up for the waitlist and get onboarded as soon as possible
PS: 2y ago we shipped productivity.so and became product of the week. so really, the PH community has been key to build what we have today.
We needed a task management tool for work, so we tried Tello, Google Tasks, and Github. But I think Amie looks much more user-friendly than the others. Juggling work, tasks, and managing calendars can be hard. Amie looks to be solving that issue perfectly. Congratulations @muellaire for launching Amie on Product Hunt! 🚀
Some WOW points 🤩
1. Love the landing page.
2. The product looks good with so many features.
3. Easy management of Todo tasks could be one of the best features.
Some Observations/Questions 👀
1. Is there a way to sync multiple Google Calendars with one Amie account?
I hope my feedback was helpful. I would love to take a look at your app and future versions of the website in more detail and offer you feedback. Please feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/in/hemantwarier/). I hope we can add value to each other as makers! 🙌
?makers Hi guys. The trailer looks Steve Jobs-y, so it caught my attention :) Congrats on the launch. I'm wondering - what's the main difference between Amie and dozens of productivity tools currently available around us?
@galaxyx7 hhaha you're too kind.
you're right, there is an insane amount of productivity products. and many of them are also really well done :)
at large:
* i believe we have spent the most time polishing our UI/UX and the workflows.
* we've built what is typically spread across 4-5 products (and will continue to combine tools)
* we're cross-device (which many aren't yet)
* we had a lot of fun and built fun animations, easter eggs etc, just to make it more enjoyable to use. a fun example is our spotify integration
the list goes on, i think our website does a good job of telling that story too :)
Very excited to finally see Amie out in the open! ✨
As someone who uses his calendar as his primary todo list, this app ticks so many boxes for me (pun very much intended). Many, many other exciting features too that I've been wanting to see in a calendar app for years (especially better multiplayer/team calendar features).
Everyone must check their website its very unique design with never seen twitter integration! I can see how much of thoughts and efforts been put behind that. If I stop thinking about the great design and interface after honeymoon period is over, I start to think about things missing like date parser, subtask, attachment etc...Congratulation for thinking out of the box and Good Luck
been here since the launch of productivity.so!!!
dennis and team, y'all are beasts, so much love for what you're building. can't wait to try the product out :)
from the very first testflight and web apps, all the way to now — amie is a daily driver that i wouldn’t want to miss anymore. be it to-dos, scheduling links, or the epic emoji showers on iOS lol
and all interactions are just… ✨
Congratulations! Looks amazing! I have always been trying to find the calendar that works for me, and have never found something that does it all. Cant wait for the beta/launch!!!
So impressed by all the attention to details with Amie and all the interactions and UI that are specifically designed to create joy. I spend a lot of time scheduling time on my calendar and I'm excited to see how Amie changes the way I work. Congrats!!! 🎉
I see what you did here :P "Today we announce 3 products, an iPod, a phone and an internet communicator. These are not 3 separated devices. This is one device." Steve Jobs - 2007.
