Hey everyone 👋 I’m Jakob, co-founder of Butter, which we've built to help people run super-engaging, interactive sessions from start to finish. We’re about to launch Scenes, an exciting new tool for interactive presentations and collaboration which people can use alongside Zoom/MS Teams/Google Meet—perfect for anyone who cares about keeping participants focused and engaged! We’ve launched on Product Hunt 3x before, and we've hit #1 Product of the Day and became a finalist for the Golden Kitty Awards — so I'm super grateful and excited to do an AMA and share our learnings here! @kwadwoadu @jakob_knutzen1 curious how you navigate that from a contractor / employee perspective / how you keep things standardized given the multitude of different cultures / potentially nations with various holidays etc? Typically we'd all observe one calendar (US CAD etc.) - Curious how ya'll navigate that.

@dzaitzow Our team can choose to follow either the Danish calendar or their local one. We’re a small team, so we just coordinate month by month or week by week if anyone needs time off—whether it’s for personal matters, public holidays, etc.

Hey Jakob! Curious to know—how big of a role does churn play in your growth strategy? Do you feel confident you’ve nailed down the top churn drivers in your product or are you still in discovery mode when it comes to reducing them? What’s been the biggest eye-opener for you so far?

@jmarten Churn is everything. If you don't nail how to fix churn, you'll just be pouring water into a leaking bucket. For Scenes, we haven't yet identified the biggest churn driver - still early days!

I first discovered Butter when I joined one of the roundtable/training sessions of @rosiesherry this year and was super amazed by the UI of the platform. Great job on that! I have a few questions that I hope to get your insights: 1. What was the exact growth roadmap of Butter? From 0 to 1, what was it like? What did you do to push the product out exactly what ideal users were expecting/excited about? 2. How did you acquire the first 1,000 users? 2. How did it grow to what it is right now?
