Congratulations on your launch. This seems a great tool. It will prove very helpful for the freelance community and small business owners. What value does your free version offer?
Thanks @qudsia_ali, Akaunting has an open-core business model. So, there will always be a free version of Akaunting.
You can bill your clients without any limits freely. The new dashboard helps you to be on top of your accounting to-do's much more easily. You do not need to worry about tracking your expenses as well, since Akaunting does not limit its users in creating any records. You can also manage books for multiple companies freely. So if you are a small business owner, a freelancer, or a side-hustler you do not need to worry about paying to keep your books in a more professional manner.
@usufzan That is great. Any small business owner can manage all their books without worrying about paying. It would be beneficial. Thank you for sharing.
I became an e-resident in Estonia and founded a company over there. I have been looking for an invoicing solution that can help me to keep books for multiple companies and is easy to use. With the latest version, Akaunting is the go-to software for my companies.
@baran_gurcan Thanks, we want our users to focus on growing their business. I'm sure we'll see your growth in new regions without needing to change the software you use.
Akaunting is one of the best accounting solution in the industry. And this product is free and open source. I am sure they will be very successful with their new versions. Great team, great job 👏🏻 Good luck at the launch! 🚀

The power of Akaunting lies in its simplicity...the UX was already good but now it has reached another level with version 3.0. I know a number of SMEs who love using Akaunting and I am pretty sure they'll love this fresh, new look.
@influx60 the core product aims to help freelancers and small business founders. We try to help owners to focus what really matters to grow their business first.
Awesome product, great paint point you are solving! I've always wondered how small businesses keep their books on an accrual basis. Looking forward to exploring this product.
I liked the way you send invoices to your clients in Akaunting. I generally prefer to send invoices with personal notes to keep the relationship warmer with my clients. I really liked the prompt that lets me edit each invoice individually when I need to.
The new dashboard is designed brilliantly. The receivables and payables are very easily depicted in the dashboard widgets. This will be very helpful for me to see my accounting to-do list at a glance.
This is very bad accounting software, and very bad company, and they don't have any mechanism to delete the account and refund the outstanding amount of money and I have a very bad experience with them
I subscribed with them and I forgot to cancel the subscription and they automatically charged me for the renewal and at the same date I cancel the subscription and asked for them for refund and they refused to refund me and also I asked them to delete my credit card details and they didn't reply and they don't have any option for this. More than this I asked them for their license copy to make a complaint and they refused.
I advise any person to think a thousand times before subscribe with them
@abdelhamid_mohamed Hi Abdelhamid,
Thanks for your feedback.
A team member reached out a few days ago with the notification that your credit card had been deleted from Akaunting. Perhaps, you somehow missed this.
There are several scenarios in which we issue a refund and still working to improve on these. However, your situation is something the team is still looking to expand on.
Unfortunately, a refund isn’t possible now, as stated in our Terms of Service (https://akaunting.com/terms).
It’s worthy of note that because renewal processes are automatic, it’s best for users always to cancel subscriptions before the renewal date. If users forget to cancel, they are charged for another renewal period. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you and would like to be of assistance in the best way possible.
A team member will be in touch soon to offer assistance.
@halim_t Sorry Mr. Halim, this is not the truth
The truth is (1) Your website when designed not having any mechanism to delete the credit card (2) Your website does not have any option to deactivating the automatic subscription (3) You don't have any clear and disclosed policy for the refund similar to the respected websites (4) Your accounting package is very, very weak and undependable
This is my feedback to all the people willing to subscribe to your website, so please take care all and don't fall in this trap.
I just checked out your software and realized you allow integration with other apps. That's really useful. I think the way to go would be a 360 small business solution.
I love that you can add favorite pages on the side panel for easy access from the dashboard. That's a help feature. The team may want to check out the search feature. Doesn't seem to work
I couldn’t imagine keeping my accounts balanced without Akaunting. I’ve been using Akaunting for 16 months already and never felt so organized and fast while doing bookkeeping. Congrats 🎉 on the launch.
