Apple AirPods — Wireless earphones from Apple

Apple AirPods are gorgeous wireless headphones. Just take them out and they’re ready to use with all your devices. Put them in your ears and they connect instantly. Speak into them and your voice sounds clear.

Just get them. I have never heard of someone not being totally satisfied (and more). Also, as my friend Abby confirmed, they don't fall out. https://twitter.com/AGrillz/stat...

Pros:

The best Apple product since the iPhone. The value I get from them is in the thousands. So worth it.

Cons:

I want to buy more (in case they get lost) but somehow they are still in backorder?

This will be handed out for free when you "Buy a new Mac for college"

As someone who doesn't like In-Ear Headphones I've been on the lookout for a wireless option. Currently mostly make use of my EarPods and Wireless Sennheiser Urbanite's. Sometimes I want something more lightweight than the Sennheiser's and these look like they'd do the trick. I tried shaking my head about with the EarPods with slack on the cable and they stayed in without any issues so super tempted to check these out.

Pros:

The best Apple product since the iPhone. I don't go anywhere without my AirPods.

Sooo.. these are not going to look good with my earrings. I hope they don't fall into mouths of toddlers and / or pets.

Are these airpods compatible with the 6s?

I'm looking forward to trying these out. The original earphones are too big for me ears so hopefully these fit better.

@erictwillis The more recent wired earbuds from Apple fell out of my ears all the time. Complete dealbreaker for me to even try these.

Looking forward to Apple's first mobile game - AirPods Go - if you know what I mean.

I think TrackR and Tile will have to come up with products so you don't lose the Pods. If nothing, it will give a good push to Bluetooth tracking device business

Instant bluetooth, light weight, no cords and a case that recharges means that you'll find yourself using the Airpods far more than normal wired headphones. Great for workouts too. The perfect gift for people who spend a lot of time making calls or listening to podcasts or music.

Pros:

The best Apple product since the iPhone.

Cons:

Won't fit everyone's ears. Siri is still behind so you'll want to disable it as a control mechanism.

Carlos Pacheco

A little more than a month in I'm very satisfied with them.

Pros:

ridiculously easy to setup, sound is just good enough, battery life is not an issue because of the case

Cons:

Only one colour option. Still looks weird. I wouldn't really recommended to running with them, they're snug on my ears but not snug enough.

Anyone else thinking AirPods look only slightly better than those ol' bluetooth earpieces we've come to despise? Except now we're wearing it on both ears.

So, Apple wants me to wear chopsticks now.. I hope I'm wrong, but looks hideous to me.

Should have provided it with iPhone 7.
Gabriel Lewis
@sidrock28 I was going to upgrade if they did, instead I'll be keeping my iPhone 6 Plus another year
Matt Galligan
@sidrock28 And would you have been ok with the price of the phone going up $150?
Sid
@mg The price of 512 GB SSD module in 2012 was 800+ $. Price of the Retina MacBook Pro as compared to standard MacBook Pro was little higher (The top end rMBP was 199$ more than the standard with the same spec minus SSD, I own one. But I'm certain it was only 100$ more than the 2011 Unibody MacBook Pro). Now the price of a 512 GB SSD is significantly lower but the price of the rMBP remains the same. This is how Apple should have played with the AirPods as well. Should have included in the iPhone 7 box at the same cost or maybe to cover the manufacturing cost. This would push the demand for Bluetooth headphones bringing the cost down and Apple can be credited for their role in making wireless audio mainstream.

[thinking to self] "How many times have my earbud(s) fallen out of my ear(s) only to be saved from hitting the ground, falling down drains, or onto metro tracks b/c they were wired....?" these seem cool & kudos to apple for pushing the envelope....but earbuds without the wire is like jumping off of a bridge without a bungee. I have a feeling 2017 will feature a ton of eBay listings w/ single R/L airPods looking for mates

Remember when people looked at people with Bluetooth headsets on and thought they looked ridiculous? Nuff said.
Max Guttman
@bentossell tbh I still think they look ridiculous but I get your point
Matt Broberg
@bentossell I'm with @maxwellhallel here - they're still a social faux pas to wear around unless you're a limo driver. All I see with this design is *two* pairs of Bluetooth on the same person. 😭
Eric Ulevik
@bentossell Yes, I still say they look ridiculous. And so do the AirPods. Interestingly, hearing aids don't look ridiculous - presumably because they try to be less visible.

Best Apple Product I've Used In Years! The charging case, the weight of the ear pieces, the ability to wear one and switch microphone are unlike any bluetooth headset I've used. Although they look weird the comfort, ease of use and sound quality are too amazing to care!

Pros:

Sound Quality, Ease of Setup, Switching Devices, Bluetooth Range, Comfort

Cons:

Look like hearing aid on steroids..

I already lost mine

Apple AirPods: The new smart wireless headphones you now must* have *To not carry an adapter because no more headphone jack in the iPhone 7
