For flights and accommodations, we're currently operating as a metasearch engine, connecting to major booking platforms to pull real-time pricing and availability data. When you click to book, you're taken directly to the source for the most current information.

We've built several verification layers into our system. First, we regularly validate our data sources against actual bookings to ensure reliability. Second, we've implemented what we call "reality checks" - algorithms that flag when something seems off (like a hotel price that's unusually low or a flight connection that's too tight).

That said, the travel industry is notorious for frequent changes, so we always recommend confirming critical details before finalizing bookings. We're working on adding real-time alerts for price changes and availability updates in a future update.

Great point about preferences - we actually handle those in a few different ways. When you're creating a trip, Airial proactively asks about preferences upfront. But what's really powerful is how these preferences get applied throughout your entire itinerary.

For example, if you mention you're vegetarian, Airial will not only recommend vegetarian-friendly restaurants, but also consider this when suggesting activities (skipping food tours that might not accommodate your needs).

For accessibility, we are improving on how we handle these nuanced preferences and would be able to incorporate the same soon.

We put together a highly detailed plan thats completely personalized to you and every single aspect of your trip can be changed either via chat or in the trip controls in the UI. I personally prefer the chat :) It has capabilities beyond anything you'll see in any other AI product

This kind of precise editing is something generic LLMs struggle with.

2. Airial integrates directly with flight and hotel data sources to provide real pricing and availability, not just suggestions.

3. Our system understands travel logistics in a way ChatGPT doesn't - like optimizing travel routes between cities, accounting for local transportation options, and planning activities based on proximity.

4. The social media integration that extracts travel details from TikToks and Instagram reels required building specialized vision-language models.

5. Airial maintains consistency across multi-city itineraries spanning weeks - something that exceeds the context window and reasoning capabilities of standard chat models.

You can definitely use ChatGPT for travel ideas, but Airial handles the complete end-to-end planning with much greater depth and accuracy. If you try both for planning a complex multi-city trip, you'll see the difference immediately.

We're not only making this process much easier but also providing peace of mind to travellers by optimizing price across dates and locations from amongst thousands of possibilities. Multi-city trips with a combination of flights, trains, buses and cars is the place where this is really helpful and no other competitor, to the best of our knowledge even attempts to handle this level of complexity.
