@andrinvr@morgam I know the founder of PlayWin who's bringing unique multiplayer gaming solutions for game developers. He's been doing a lot of thinking about multiplayer solutions. I'm sure he'd be up for a virtual coffee chat over Skype to see if you have any collaboration opportunities. If interested, email me and I'll do an email introduction Paul (at) TheAppGuy.co
Hi @mattbrian. The YouTube Jukebox works differently than any YouTube App. Besides being able to control videos with your smartphone, the real magic happens when there are more than one person logged in the same session. So whenever you have people around you, with the YouTube Jukebox, everyone can suggest videos, upvote them and create a group playlist.
Maybe I'm missing the point of pairing my phone, but it'd be great to see this done without having to use AirConsole, and (if it doesn't exist) ways to join online communities on channels e.g. a channel for Product Hunters.
@edmoyse the As Andrin mentioned above, YouTube Jukebox and AirConsole are aimed to local parties or when you have friends around. It would definitely be interesting to see something like the Jukebox for online communities.
Love the idea, but didn't work for me (had to connect my phone to AirConsole but after entering the connection code, my phone never got past "Loading Game").
Hi there, I'm the product manager at AirConsole/N-Dream and I'd love to hear your thoughts about the YouTube Jukebox. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. :-)
AirConsole is a browser-based gaming platform that turns your computer / SmartTV into a video game console and your smartphones into gamepads.
Our vision is to become the #1 place for party and local multiplayer games. But we've realized we can solve another big need with our infrastructure: Watching YouTube videos together with friends. Usually people have to battle over the keyboard when they're on youtube, they skip videos accidentally or it takes forever until they find the exact video they are looking for. So watching YouTube videos together is a bit a mess.
With youtube.airconsole.com you have one shared big screen and everybody can search for videos on their smartphone and throw them into the playlist of the big screen. Everybody can upvote the videos in the playlist and they can enjoy the best videos without battling or long interruptions.
It's also great for parties: The master controller can limit the allowed youtube videos to "Music Videos only" - and the crowd becomes the DJ...
I'm the founder of N-Dream AG, the company behind AirConsole. I'm happy to answer more questions if you have any - we're also very interested in feedback.

This is awesome, well played @morgam@andrinvr ~ If I may suggest one thing, it would be to allow people to access, build and vote on the curated playlist remotely. Quite often I'm on skype with colleagues/friends, requesting music suggestions. Jukebox could make that experience much more engaging.
Hi @warrickgodfrey, this could work. All you need to know is the session code of the person. You can log in remotely suggest videos. However, won't be able to see the big screen. So it works for remote suggestions, not for remote entertainment.
